Hoy en consulta mientras me encontraba en funciones de higienista dental, llegó una paciente de 16 años de edad quién presentaba manchas en todos los cuellos de sus dientes, las mismas eran de color marrón oscuros estas no eran compatibles a caries dental y las mismas nos llamaron mucho la atención ya que se encontraban en todos los dientes, mas que todo siendo los más afectados el grupo de los molares, esta paciente es sana sin ningún indicio de fumar, pero ciertamente debe haber un factor desencadenante en este en la formación de estas manchas y mientras no se conozca la raíz, no se tendrá un tratamiento pertinente.
