We talked in October about the fact that I'm currently looking for an office space for CryptoCompany and at the same time want to give my part-time job as a DJ a little more basis. Since I avoid writing private stuff when it's quiet on the @CryptoCompany blog, but now articles are appearing (have already appeared) on CryptoCompany again, I want to take the liberty of informing you about the progress of things.
A brief review:
I told you about the plans here. I was looking for a place to work undisturbed on CryptoCompany. As a secondary use, I would have used the premises to play music at the weekend.
After the location I first visited turned out to be unsuitable, I looked at another location. But Paraguay wouldn't be Paraguay if things worked here.

Musical stuff:
After the landlady of the second venue never got in touch with me, I spoke to a bar owner friend about the situation. Long story short: I will not be organizing my musical performances in my own venue, but am now in the process of preparing to integrate myself musically into his venue. With this in mind, the space of the venue and the concept behind it will be expanded. As soon as there are any physical changes, I'll be sure to report back with photos.
Office for CryptoCompany:
The location of the bar is not necessarily suitable for me to set up an office there as well. However, as undisturbed working is very important to me - and this is not permitted by the general conditions of my current place of residence - I am currently looking at moving accordingly, i.e. completely. Not just as an “office”, but completely as the center of my life. I wouldn't call it a dedicated office, but since my life basically has no content other than digital work and music anyway (apart from a few social contacts), my new apartment will be geared towards my primary needs anyway: working on the computer.
Both locations:
Involvement in the bar is effectively bagged (as far as that goes in Paraguay anyway) and the new living space should ideally be as close to the bar as possible. Fortunately, I have found a suitable space. Apparently. So I have found it. And I already know the price, at least I think so. I'll only be able to say whether I like the details of the space after I've inspected it. This will hopefully take place next week - as long as Christmas and New Year don't get in the way.
That means:
Even if a dedicated office is of course cool, it also has disadvantages. And basically, I was interested in the distance to the local distractions and impairments that I have at my current place of residence. This would be solved if I moved completely.
Of course, organizing the musical aspect together with a friend also has a few disadvantages, but for me the advantages probably outweigh the disadvantages. It would probably be too much to list all the aspects here, although I have of course assessed them for myself. In the end, however, you could say: less risk, better integration into life there and ultimately less work. All in all, I think it's better to do this as a team, because I'm already struggling enough as a lone fighter at CryptoCompany. It will be good if I don't have the problems of a lone fighter in other areas as well. And ultimately, teamwork is also a protective shield so that the management of the musical component doesn't distract me too much from other aspects, especially CryptoCompany.
Then...
Well, that's it for now as a little interim report for those who are interested. I will certainly report on the further course of events. At least when I also publish content on the @CryptoCompany blog ;-) However, as the new energy offensive has now begun there, I am confident that I will be able to find time for a few “private” words here too.

Wir haben uns im Oktober darüber unterhalten, das ich aktuell auf der Suche nach einem Büroraum für CryptoCompany bin und zugleich meiner Nebentätigkeit als DJ etwas mehr Basis geben will. Da ich es vermeide, privates Kram zu schreiben, wenn es auf dem Blog von @CryptoCompany ruhig ist, nun aber bei CryptoCompany wieder Artikel erscheinen (bereits erschienen sind), will ich mir die Freiheit nehmen und euch über den Verlauf der Dinge zu informieren.
Kurzer Rückblick:
Ich hatte euch hier von den Plänen berichtet. Es ging um eine Räumlichkeit, um ungestört an CryptoCompany arbeiten zu können. Als Zweitnutzung hätte ich die Räumlichkeiten genutzt, um am Wochenende Musik aufzulegen.
Nachdem sich die Lokalität, welche ich zuerst besichtigt habe, in der Nachschau dann doch nicht als passend erwiesen hat, habe ich mir eine weitere Lokalität angeschaut. Aber Paraguay wäre nicht Paraguay, wenn die Dinge hier funktionieren würden.

Musikalisches:
Nachdem sich die Vermieterin der zweiten Lokalität nie gemeldet hat, habe ich mit einem befreundeten Barinhaber über den Sachverhalt gesprochen. Lange Geschichte, kurz: ich werde meine musikalischen Darbietungen nicht in einer eigenen Lokalität organisieren, sondern bin mittlerweile in den Vorbereitungen, mich musikalisch in seine Lokalität zu integrieren. Im Sinne dessen wird die Fläche der Lokalität und das Konzept dahinter erweitert. Sobald dort physische Veränderungen anstehen, werde ich euch bestimmt mit Fotos berichten.
Büro für CryptoCompany:
Die Lokalität der Bar ist nicht unbedingt dazu geeignet, mir dort auch noch ein Büro einzurichten. Da mir das ungestörte Arbeiten aber sehr wichtig ist - und dies von den Rahmenbedingungen meines aktuellen Wohnortes nicht zugelassen wird - bin ich also gerad am schauen, das ich entsprechend umziehe; also komplett. Nicht nur als "Büro", sondern eben komplett als Lebensmittelpunkt. Das würde ich dann zwar nicht als dediziertes Büro titulieren, aber da es bei mir im Leben im Grunde eh keine Inhalte außer digitaler Arbeit und Musik gibt (abgesehen von ein paar sozialen Kontakten), wird sich meine neue Wohnung dann eh an meinem primären Bedarf orientieren: am Computer arbeiten.
Beide Lokalitäten:
Die Mitwirkung in der Bar ist faktisch (so weit das in Paraguay überhaupt geht) eingetütet und der neue Wohnraum sollte im Idealfall möglichst nah an der Bar sein. Glücklicherweise habe ich eine entsprechende Räumlichkeit gefunden. Scheinbar. Also gefunden habe ich sie. Und auch den Preis kenne ich bereits, glaube ich zumindest. Ob die Räumlichkeit dann auch im Detail zusagt, kann ich erst nach einer Begehung sagen. Diese wird hoffentlich nächste Woche stattfinden - sofern mir Weihnachten bzw. Neujahr nicht dazwischenkommt.
Das bedeutet:
Auch wenn ein dediziertes Büro natürlich cool ist, hat es auch Nachteile. Und im Grunde ging es mir ja um den Abstand zu den hiesigen Ablenken bzw. Beeinträchtigungen, welche ich an meinem aktuellen Wohnort habe. Dies wäre dann ja gelöst, wenn ich komplett umziehe.
Den musikalischen Aspekt zusammen mit einer befreundeten Person zu organisieren hat natürlich auch ein paar Nachteile, wobei für mich die Vorteile wahrscheinlich überwiegen. Alle Aspekte nun aufzulisten wäre hier wohl zu viel, wobei ich diese für mich natürlich bewertet habe. Am Ende könnte man aber sagen: weniger Risiko, bessere Integration in das Dasein dort und letztlich auch weniger Arbeit. Ich denke, das es summa summarum besser ist, dies im Team zu machen; denn als Einzelkämpfer schlage ich mich schon bei CryptoCompany genug rum. Es wird gut sein, wenn ich die Probleme eines Einzelkämpfers nicht auch noch in anderen Bereichen habe. Und letztlich ist die Teamarbeit auch ein Schutzschild, damit mich das management der musikalischen Komponente nicht zu sehr von anderen Aspekte, insbesondere CryptoCompany, abhält.

Joa, das wäre es erstmal gewesen als kleine Zwischenmeldung für Jene, welche daran interessiert sind. Über den weiteren Verlauf werde ich gewiss berichten. Zumindest dann, wenn ich auch auf dem Blog von @CryptoCompany Inhalte veröffentliche. ;-) Da dort aber mittlerweile die neue Energieoffensive begonnen hat, bin ich zuversichtlich, auch hier für ein paar "private" Worte Zeit finden zu können.
