My progress so far:
I checked out 3 monoliths in Amurobeo XIX system. Two of them was on planet Kirt XVI and one on planet Smakewe Ujin. Each monolith gave me partial glyphs needed to open the portal to another realm, with a vision which showed me the First Traveler's journey and encounter with the omnipotent being, Atlas. After obtaining complete set of glyphs, I detected the fourth energy source on planet Kirt XVI. This must be the portal. (log #14)
I reached the portal on planet Kirt XVI, and activate it using the glyphs previously obtained from monoliths. The portal teleported me to a strange new planet with yellow sky. Then reality faded, and I was in front of a huge black sphere with crimson hue in a dark hall. It was Atlas. Interacting with Atlas indicated that the galaxy itself is a simulation which had been running for countless millennia, and serious errors are occurring within. I was sent back to the planet and found my starship. I picked up an incoming transmission signal, which could be from Artemis. I'm checking out the signal source. (log #15)
The signal source turned out to be Artemis' grave. Artemis' consciousness seemed to be still remaining in a form of hologram, but I couldn't talk with her effectively. I went to a long-range communication tower to contact Apollo, but I couldn't. Instead I was connected with an entity named Null via manual override. Null gave me blueprints of Mind Arc and Soul Engine. According to Null, I might be able to revive Artemis with them. (log #16)
I warped to Onbets-Arg system to investigate the distress signal I picked up previously. The signal was from a settlement on planet Nucaselis L12.
I landed near the settlement and tried to talk with its inhabitants, but the Sentinels appeared and began to attack.
It was a difficult firefight because heat storm swept across the settlement just in time. Hazard protection system was discharging rapidly, and the Sentinels were attacking me constantly. I had to hide inside a building in the middle of the fight multiple times while those Sentinels were raging through the town.
I managed to take out all the Sentinels. Heat storm also subsided shortly after that. The settlement overseer's seat was vacant, so I could take charge of this town. I walked to the settlement interface where I could register myself as overseer. I hesitated a bit due to harsh environment of this planet. And then, a pirate squadron attacked the town. What kind of bad luck is that?
I ran to my starship, soared to the sky, and blasted out all of them. I decided not to go back to the settlement. Maybe next time.
I went into the space and warped to nearby Tosaikin XII system to mine cadmium, which was needed to craft Soul Engine.
I landed on planet Neza 33/V1, and found a cadmium deposit. I mined more than enough cadmium with my terrain-manipulator.
The next component needed was "living pearl". Wait, my base is on the sea side. Maybe I won't need to wander around the galaxy to find one. There was no space station in Tosaikin XII system, so I warped to nearby Konaka system and docked to the space station there.
Through the teleport gate in the station, I got back to my base on planet Lepu II in Suzukai system. As I expected, I found clams containing those pearls under the sea. The last component, metal plating, was a basic component easy to craft. So, with those components I crafted a Soul Engine.
Now that Soul Engine was completed, building Mind Arc was not a problem. Other required components, wiring looms and glass, could be easily obtained. Glass could be made from silicate powder using refiner. Silicate powder was abundant because it could be mined from any ordinary land. Wiring looms could be purchased from space station's trade terminal.
After some refining processes to get the glass, I went back to Konaka space station via the teleport gate of my base and bought the wiring looms.
Now the Mind Arc is complete. I'm going to contact Artemis's ghost(or data remnant) to see what this Mind Arc can do to help her.
