SPI Incomes & Dividends
Income was a little low this week, leo-voter skipped a day but we finished with just over 563 HIVE. Content, leasing and dividend payments this week are on par with what they always are.
SPI Fund Assets
We have a good week for our HP balance should from now on increase by a few hundred each week. Each week for the past 3 years, EDS has cost SPI a few HP each week backing EDS tokens. eds-vote has been a great success and now EDS pulls in more HIVE than it needs to use to mint new EDS tokens resulting in our HP balance increasing from now on. We are also sitting on a large amount of liquid HIVE but cant decide what to do with it. We could invest into some HE tokens and then have liquidity to sell out, power it up or leave it to sit there ready to trade at any instant. If HIVE were to pop 15-20% in a day, it would be nice to sell 10k HIVE to try and buy back 10.5k when the price corrects a little. Anyways, no hurry about that.
Let's get real here, our HE tokens are dead. BRO is yielding 2-3% APY a year, SUB is still in a startup, there no liquidity for INCOME, LGN is a stable token with a small yield, our pack tokens are dead and gaming is gaming. There is nothing on HE I am interested in at all mainly because there is no liquidity.
Our non-HIVE holdings have been destroyed this week along with HIVE. You can see alot of red in the table and we're losing now on over half our buys. These buys were mostly done either last year are at the start of this year. Thankfully, overall we're still up because of our ETH.
SPI Token Price & Stats
We sold a small increase in SPI token value to 5.94 this week. The fund value increased by 1.1% this week bringing use YTD +11.51%. We're still winning and it's still early in the year. Depending on how HIVE plays out the rest of the year will heavily dictate how we will finish the SPI year.
