El lunes por la tarde Vidal y yo estuvimos hablando un poco sobre nuestra rutina diaria, ya que él trabaja de miércoles a domingo en un horario de 7am a 7pm en la ciudad de caracas/capital de Venezuela, llegando a casa todos los días pasada las 8 de la noche, solo los días lunes y martes los que tiene libre.
En esa conversación discutíamos si ir o no a la playa el martes.
Yo no estaba muy convencida, ¿ir un día martes a la playa? por lo regular son los fines de semana (sábado/domingo) que uno va a la playa. Vidal alegó que solo lunes y martes el está libre y que no veía nada de malo ir a la playa un martes. Después de diferentes opiniones entre ambos, decidimos irnos el martes, ese mismo día (lunes) bajamos las sillas y una mesita al carro, además compramos una caja de cervezas “ZULIA”, y en la noche dejamos todo preparado.
El martes nos levantamos bien temprano (7am), nos preparamos un delicioso desayuno y partimos para Higuerote/Barlovento.
On Monday afternoon Vidal and I were talking a bit about our daily routine, since he works from Wednesday to Sunday from 7am to 7pm in the city of Caracas/capital of Venezuela, arriving home every day after 8pm, only on Mondays and Tuesdays he is free.
In that conversation we were discussing whether or not to go to the beach on Tuesday.

Vidal argued that he is only free on Mondays and Tuesdays and that he saw nothing wrong with going to the beach on a Tuesday. After different opinions between both of us, we decided to go on Tuesday, that same day (Monday) we put the chairs and a small table in the car, we also bought a case of "ZULIA" beers, and in the evening we left everything ready.
Tuesday we got up very early (7am), prepared a delicious breakfast and left for Higuerote/Barlovento.
Realmente los paisajes de esa vía son bastante relajantes.
Luego de media hora en carretera, nos desviamos un poco para entrar a Caucagua, un pueblito que queda en la vía, ahí nos sorprendimos de ver una hermosa plaza con una Estatua hermosa alusiva a ese pueblo.

After half an hour on the road, we took a detour to enter Caucagua, a small town on the road, where we were surprised to see a beautiful square with a beautiful statue alluding to that town.
A pesar de estar ahí desde Diciembre del 2022, nosotros no la conocíamos y nos pareció hermosa y bien cuidada. Después de tomar algunas fotos seguimos a un sitio encantador donde venden cochino frito, chicharrón, bollitos de chicharrón y varias cosas más llamado “Las tres Rosas”; nos detuvimos a comprar chicharrón y nos atendió una chica muy agradable, todo el tiempo estuvo sonriendo, dándonos a probar todo cada uno de sus productos que ofrecía en su puesto, todo estaba fresco y delicioso, le compramos un buen pedazo de chicharrón con bastante carne y le regalamos una de nuestras cervezas que ya estaban bien frías y brindamos por tan agradable momento.
Despite being there since December 2022, we did not know it and found it beautiful and well kept. After taking some pictures we continued to a charming place where they sell fried pork, chicharron, chicharron buns and several other things called "Las tres Rosas"; we stopped to buy chicharron and we were served by a very nice girl, all the time she was smiling, giving us to taste each one of her products offered in her stand, everything was fresh and delicious, we bought a good piece of chicharron with enough meat and we gave her one of our beers that were already cold and we toasted for such a nice moment.
Después de cancelar la cuenta, nos despedimos de la chica y seguimos nuestro viaje, ya tomándonos unas cervecitas para el calor.
En una hora y media de carretera, llegamos a Rio Chico , pasamos varias playas muy bonitas pero desoladas, no había ni un alma, yo lo sabía, pero no quise dañar el momento con un mal comentario, así que seguimos y encontramos una playa hermosa llamada “PLAYA COLADA”, con un estacionamiento privado, estaba sola, pero nos atendió un muchacho bien simpático, que nos ayudó a sacar todo del carro y ubicarnos en una churuata que tenía un costo de 10$ sin sillas, con dos sillas el costo era de 15$ (nosotros llevamos sillas y mesa).
El lugar estaba muy bello, había un restaurant y a pesar de que no había nadie en la playa, nos sentimos protegidos por los encargados de ese lugar, ellos colocaron una corneta cerca de nuestro puesto con música variada con un volumen aceptable.
After canceling the bill, we said goodbye to the girl and continued our trip, having a few beers for the heat.
In an hour and a half of road, we arrived to Rio Chico, we passed several beautiful but desolate beaches, there was not a soul, I knew it, but I did not want to damage the moment with a bad comment, so we continued and found a beautiful beach called "PLAYA COLADA", with a private parking, it was alone, but we were attended by a very nice guy, who helped us to take everything out of the car and place us in a hut that had a cost of $ 10 without chairs, with two chairs the cost was $ 15 (we brought chairs and table).
The place was very beautiful, there was a restaurant and although there was no one on the beach, we felt protected by the people in charge of that place, they placed a bugle near our booth with a variety of music at an acceptable volume.
El agua del mar se ve turbia, pero en realidad es muy limpia, esa es una de las características de las playas de Barlovento, por su arena oscura dentro del mar el agua se ve así.
Pasamos un día maravilloso, compartimos y conversamos mucho sobre nuestra relación, llegamos a varios acuerdos para mantener siempre la armonía en nuestro hogar.
Bendecimos ese día dándole las gracias a Dios por tomar esa buena decisión de ir a la playa un martes donde sabíamos no iba a ver mucha gente, de hecho no había más nadie que nosotros, pero eso no fue motivo para no pasarla de lo mejor.
Después de bañarnos y cambiarnos de ropa, nos tomamos otras cuantas fotos para compartir con la familia y todos ustedes queridos amigos.

We spent a wonderful day, we shared and talked a lot about our relationship, we reached several agreements to always maintain harmony in our home.
We blessed that day thanking God for making that good decision to go to the beach on a Tuesday where we knew there would not be many people, in fact there was no one but us, but that was no reason not to have a great time.
