As a HIVE user we knew this day would come but it seems closer than ever. We have seen it pop-up often on Twitter and let's admit it, we also pushed the Web 3.0 narrative to pump our bags.
In the following article from Cryptoslate: Polygon and Alexis Ohanian’s VC firm launch a $200 million fund for Web3 social media we learn that Polygon and one of Reddit's co-founder's VC fund plan to develop a Web3 platform on the Polygon network.
His venture is Seven Seven Six which tweeted the following:

Despite what I think about VCs, I think Alexis Ohanian nailed it in this quote:
“We are still in the early days of Web3 and the most obvious opportunities right now are in gaming and social,” said Ohanian. “This initiative will do just that, with a focus on gaming properties and social media platforms built on Polygon’s scalable infrastructure. We’ve already seen some of the best product founders in our portfolio start building on Polygon and I’m excited for Seven Seven Six and Polygon to play a big role in shaping what the new internet looks like.”
I see you Polygon Bag HODLers or CUB and PolyCub HODLers thinking: ' This is great!". Overall, I think you might be right, now most of crypto twitter, VCs and normies acknowledge that Web 3.0 is needed !
It is not the first announcement we have seen from a Top 10 Chain but this one is serious as it combines an experienced social media entrepreneur + funds + a competitive blockchain.
Hive still has 1st mover advantage and keeps innovating
Innovation is blossoming ON hive: Many tribes are very successful and have good niche positioning. We need to continue to attract crypto users wanting to be in Web 3.0 and to try to decentralize our governance/stakes as much as we can !

My favorite as you know is Leofinance as it reached out to DeFi and I learn new things on it daily. They also announced yesterday the Beta of the Leomobile iOS app !
