A New Season of Reviews - A Challenge accepted!
The nefarious trio of World Eaters, Death Guard and Thousand Sons are set to get their new Codexes next. Actually, the great FOUR are each getting their favourite Legion's new Codexes but Emperor's Children did not have an actual Index before.
Anyway. I was speaking to my friend @nicolaasmuller about how my Review posts might not make a lot of money for me, but that cumulatively and on average some of them do good and overall there is an average that at least means that there is good movement of income into the Hobby Fund and that it would grow from there.
We were throwing around some numbers and looking at the average of my last 10 Review Posts, 20 Review posts and 30 Review Posts and we could come up with a range of how much I should theoretically be making across a large sample size of completing the remainder of the reviews for the nefarious trio mentioned above.
So Nicolaas says to me something along the lines of: That would be pretty cool if you could do it in like, a month. Maybe do like 2 a day.
Alteration So @nicolaasmuller and I worked out that firstly - due to family obligations, I had missed out on some days not being able to blog at all and having no laptop with me and more on the way... and the fact that he had said 2x posts a day from the start would have made it a 40 day challenge. I shall adjust that number below going forward...
So I explained it would be a little bit more than that but sure... it would be cool... is that a challenge? And yeah... here I am... Challenge accepted. 😎
It is now Day 31 of the Challenge.
Totals so far: 60/70 Datasheets done, 3/3 Army Rules done, 0/6 Detachment Rules done. Total 63/79.

Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $295 to pay off!

Back to the review.
The whole project has become quite the Challenge! With so many units to review in the game the consensus in the hobby community is that I will not have enough time to review all of the Datasheets before the new edition of Warhammer 40,000 came out.
I should have started when 10th edition launched!

Thousand Sons, Thousand Sons Sorcerer in Terminator Armour

There are Sorcerers in this army to lead all the other squads so it only stands to reason that their unique Terminator units should have a leader that can take command and enhance the unit.
This model is 105pts to field and costs $40

18" Range, 3 Shots, Hitting on 3+, S4, AP-3 and 2 Damage each.
Psychic (This weapon has the Psychic keyword)
Anti-Vehicle 4+ (This weapon critically wounds a Vehicle on a 4+, regardless of toughness.)
Anti-Monster 4+ (This weapon critically wounds a Monster on a 4+, regardless of toughness.)

Rapid Fire 2 (At half Range of 12", gain 2 additional attacks)

24" Range, 1 Shot, Hitting on 4+, S4, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Rapid Fire 1 (At half Range of 12", gain 1 additional attack)
Anti-Infantry 3+ (Critically Wounds any Infantry on a 3+ regardless of Toughness)
Devastating Wounds (On a Roll of a 6 to wound, it causes Critical Wounds, or as modified above, Critical Wounds cause Mortal wounds!)
Melee Weapons
Force Weapon
5 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S6, AP-1 and D3 Damage each.
Force Weapon
4 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.
Abilities
Deep Strike (When being set up from reserves, this model can be set up anywhere on the board, more than 9" away from enemy models)
Cabal of Sorcerers 2 (This model gives 2 Cabal Points per turn)
Empyric Guidance
While leading a unit, Weapons wielded by this unit have the Lethal Hits ability (meaning on 6's to Hit, they automatically Wound as well)
Marked by Fate
In the Shooting phase choose 1 enemy unit visible to this model. Until the end of the Shooting phase, all Thousand Sons that shoot at that unit get to re-roll Hit rolls of 1.
Thoughts
This model has an anti-vehicle and anti-monster Psychic shooting attack AND gives his unit the ability to wound any target, no matter how tough!
It is obvious that this is a great combo for taking Thousand Sons Terminators and turning them to tank/monster hunters!
The Re-roll 1's can be used against anything that will give you trouble!
That makes 24 Thousand Sons Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 85.71% Completed. The total Completed is 34.27% Complete! Can I review them all?!
