I posted on Sunday that I was back to running after a few weeks of suffering from Steemfest Flu. The bug is still lingering and my legs are sore from Sunday, but I'm trying to get back into the running habit. The weather turned wet today, but it's not too cold and it didn't really rain whilst I was out. At the far end of my run I went exploring around the lakes of Fairlands Park. I then just followed my nose until a check of the map showed I was veering a bit far north. This resulted in a slightly longer run than I would normally do at lunch, but I wasn't too bad at the end.
Not that notable an improvement as it's only the second run of the month and there's the usual spurious max speed.
I had some lunch when I got back (after my shower of course) and my legs let me know I'd done something when I got up again. I need to keep them working to build up my exercise tolerance. I'd like to do more km each month. 100km is a nice round number, but I never seem to reach it. I probably won't this month as there's various events and time away over Xmas. I'll aim to ramp up in January.
