Thinking about my life before and how have I behaved 10, 20 years ago. Pessimism, criticism and all kind of negativity was a natural part of my life. Always expecting the worst possible outcome-and guess what-it always came.
Back then, this was normal thinking for me and for most people I knew. There was no questioning just a firm belief that this is the only way life should be. Sad.
I am currently reading Napoleon Hill's book and there is a chapter about gratitude that I'd like to share in my own words.
Gratitude definition
Not praying for future blessings, but being grateful for what I already possess. I possess a sound body, mainly healthy and a well-balanced mind. I have a creative imagination through which I can help other people and my family. I'm blessed with freedom in both body and mind.
It is good to stop, reflect and be grateful for what we already have. And even in the darkest times, something positive could be found.
