I do not have a problem with the NFL enforcing drug and alcohol policies. They should have to abide by the same policies that are enforced on the rest of us that perform risky jobs. Playing football is dangerous and a player needs to have all of his faculties fully functional when on the field whether it is practice, or a game. When my team takes the field I want every player to give 100% to win the game. If a guy doesn't take that responsibility seriously enough to not show up under the influence then I don't want him on my team. He can do that crap in the off season. A lot of these guys get paid more in a year than most of us will make in a life time. On top of that most of them enjoy a level of privilege as an athlete, from high school onward that average people do not get to enjoy. I am really sick of hearing these over paid athletes whine about what they don't get. The story about the tea is probably a BS story anyway. They need to just shut up, obey the NFL policies and play ball. Enjoy the game, but don't worship the players.
