Ladies and gentlemen, it seems that we have awakened this challenge of ours these days, to spread the vibes. Isn't that wonderful? We turned things upside down a bit, we travelled a bit in the world of numbers and math, we continued with music numbers and we shook our bodies a little with funky music. Heart in place, body in change, thoughts in confusion. Everything is exactly as it should be :) Only one thing is missing, to get me in order and start writing my contribution. Just like that, the fingers froze on the keyboard, not because it was cold in the house, on the contrary. I also had a blushing treatment a couple of days ago, everything is fine.
However, I complicated my expectations of myself and started writing about one topic, then another, but all that is waiting for better days in the draft section of this out platform. Everything will be in order, but first, I will have to call our new friend, who does not visit me often, Mr. Deadline. If you don't know the story of his origin, the source to find out more is available here. So, Mr. Deadline, I thought it would be great if you could be situated next to me and speed up this process because I want to contribute to the spread of vibes. I hope you will stay until I finish this post. Thanks in advance.
@edje, you based your post in reverse spirit, right? It was really cool, going backwards in the parts of the post. Well, not that the order of the sections is strictly established, as a rule... the preferred world is guidelines. So, I will use the backwards form of your backwards form and do a whole circle. I am back to start from the beginning, following the original guidelines, although you will see later, I will visit the upside-down world somehow.
Your reaction to the music that was shared with you!
Not an easy part of the challenge to describe what the music that was shared with me and other invites awakens. If I would say, I like it, it would be true, yes. If I would say, I am listening to it, again and again, it would be true also. If I would say, I wanted to learn more, it would be true also, and it is what I actually went through, one whole day (even it went for two days) of getting closer to HVOB, but at the same time another thing happened. I went away from them and jumped into a deep sea of shared experiences from some festivals, travels, flowers and drawn suns, music, lots of music that is darker than HVOB. Now, coming back to this post that I am responding to, the Trialog album seems so light.
In a positive sense, don't get me wrong. The beginning with its syncopated rhythm, written in some compound measure (if it would be classical music), played in some wooden percussion instrument (again, if it would be classical). But it is electronic music, that maybe has more in common with all the dynamic range and layers that classical also offers than it is thought at the first sight. A relaxing vibe for being in harmony with yourself, but with a beat that doesn't get your heart to fall asleep. With a voice that is calling for your inner voice to respond, with diverse harmony and rhythm effects, stops, light parts, full beat parts... all of that seems to be in a perfect place but always moving. Although I am probably still not believed that I like what I hear, not just HVOB and Trialog album, but the sets from festival memories posts, well, I will just confirm: it is all to my very liking, and beyond it.
Your music selection and related story!
The whole upside-down concept from Edje's post got me thinking. It brought back some memories, that I think I have never shared officially, non-officially either, just mentioned in one comment. A true but unrevealed story is that we almost finished the emigration process to New Zealand (initially it was Australia we wanted to move to) but one tiny detail made this thing not happen. A bit disappointed that two years of working on this emigration thing went to nothing, we took a one-month summer vacation, here, in the Iberian peninsula. After just six months, we definitely moved here, to the sunny place, but you know what was the interesting fact? If we would draw a straight line running through the centre of the Earth from Spain, we would connect with New Zealand. They are the exact antipodes!!! The upside-down world from here.
Going there, to the other side of the globe, would be easy with a teleport. I could be in a blink of an eye in Oceania; the far away and the upside-down world would not be that far away anymore... But in the lack of that teleport, I have to reach other mediums to go closer there. Music? Uhm... you would be surprised, but not just music is coming this time. There are two really funny guys from Australia, Umbilical Brothers that made a show called The Upside Down Show. Shane Dundas and David Collins are living in a special house, well, a living room with their energetic puppet and other creatures, like an invisible pet, fluff balls etc. They also have an imaginary remote control and each episode starts with using it. I loved that show, but it was more suitable for my son {still I like that silly series}. So, that show is NOT my share today, but another play from Umbilical Brothers. They performed it on various occasions, and it is called Song About Life. Well, here we have also singing, so we are matching the musical vibes too. I will not say right now more info from this play, just that around minute 6 I start to cry from laughing. All before that I am laughing too! Stop reading and just watch and later let me know, did you stay without laughing??
Your invites of other HIVE members!
This part maybe should be a bit elaborated in another way, to invite and mention, but not to mention, as the mentions sometimes can be annoying. But I will believe, the people tagged here would be glad I did it:
@naradamoon. I saw you liked the challenge in the comment section of a user that made his response. It gave me confidence, that you will be my next invite :) Here you go, the challenge not challenge, Spread the Vibes is waiting for your response. If you don't like the humour and that Song About Life, you can pick up Edje's share, HVOB, or... well, you are creative, and I am sure you will find a solution, if you want to take part :)
@brain.candy. Once I invited @elliptique to this challenge... I met @ravenmus1c the other day. Why not your account that you run together?
@edje, WHY? Why have you been 32 minutes faster than I? We didn't even say we would publish a StV post on the same day, or week hahaha. Now I can not say you to put the counter to three... Just back to two :p
