Hey everyone! I wanted to share a quick update for the previous month and what to expect in the near future. Two weeks ago I shared a post with what I think are currently our highest priority topics to address and I encourage everyone to check it out. I've also been working with the team to follow up on our recent passed proposals.
Firstly I'd like to say I appreciate the overwhelming support on the three most recent proposals that we had. The SushiSwap proposal is being worked on now, but it seems they had some kinks to sort out on their end with the code. It's been delayed a bit and should be ready to go before much longer. I'll let everyone know when I have a firm launch date.
The Proposal to price Gladius Stones in Merits is going to take some time. After speaking with the team, they are working on migrating the Guild Store into the "next" framework and will make the adjustment then. This will prevent wasting dev resources on doing the same work twice.
We also passed the new proposal guidelines for DAO Sponsored proposals (the one's that I've been making) and the Splinterlands team has been extremely helpful in reworking on the on-site proposal system to accommodate the recommendations. While I can't promise the date is set in stone, I have tested the update and it seems likely it will go live next week.
This will be a major quality of life update for the proposal system that will make notifications much less intrusive while also empowering us to have stake weighted polling for the DAO Sponsored Proposals. The tournament rework proposals will be coming swiftly after this update as I want to have them on-site and get as much involvement as possible in the Tournament rework proposal process.
We had a pretty good month on X (Twitter) with Sushi retweeting us twice. Hopefully we can gain more traction there when the bonding proposal goes live.
