I'm sure nobody in the STEEM world is a stranger to @nathanmars now especially after this past month of aggresive generosity towards the minnows on STEEM.
What I can say is, everything comes from somewhere. Generosity comes from somewhere. I don't know him personally in real life but his actions is definitely speaking louder than words.
Everytime I find out that he has delegated SP to someone in the STEEM/DTube community, it gets me excited. Many of them are my personal friends and I'm so glad that they've been given a boost in their STEEM journey by @nathanmars because I know how hard they have worked the past year on continuously producing content.
What's everyone been up to since these delegations?
Many STEEMians have found new life in their work here on STEEM and they're really squeezing their brains on how to add value to the platform besides uploading content.
Prior to the delegations from him, many were just producing content and engaging here and there but now that they've been gotten this delegations, theres a surge of empowerment in the community to build the community which Nathan has said many times that empowering is what he wants to do for DTubers. Bro, I'm telling you, you've accomplish that by a mile!
This is the affects of generosity being demonstrated. Many of those that have gotten this delegation doesn't know him personally and all the more reasons to recognize that this man is a man on a mission, a mission that we should all get behind as well and make it our own!
What mission you ask?
How @nathanmars is using the STEEM ecosystem is the embodiment of how it was meant to be used. Not just STEEM but blockchain was meant to disrupt the current conventional economics and how we as a human race approach work and merit.
STEEM is an ecosystem where from the surface, "money" is appearing out of nowhere and regular folks with non-celebrity status or content quality such as perfect grammar or 1080p HD videos with HD sound, are being rewarded for their efforts.
We have been given a money making machine that can give us (all of us) financial freedom and no longer slaving to the financial systems of this world.
Sounds altruistic and too good to be true? YOU'RE ALREADY IN IT!
What we have to understand about this platform that we're on is that, we cannot approach this from a conventional economics point of view and treat it that way. If we do, well, we'll all be calculating things base on the ROI of our investment, the percentage of the inflation to the percentage of our earnings and be back into the cycle that I'm sure all of us have gotten sick and tired of.
All of the above, @nathanmars isn't doing. He is losing on maximizing his day to day earnings by doing what he's been doing. He can be upvoting himself 100% 10 times a day on content that says #whatever, but instead he's isn't and going against the grain by delegating his SP to people that he barely knows.
I don't think there is a single person on the STEEM blockchain asides from @nathanmars that has powered up to delegate to random people for their benefit and to empower them in their work.
Crazy, stupid or a man that seems something most don't?
Enough about Nathan. What about us?
Let's just one thing straight, all of us are richer financially speaking than before we were on STEEM. Whether it's a little richer or a lot richer, we are richer.
We need to approach STEEM and it's blockchain economics with a different posture than how we have been taught by secular and conventional economics.
Different system needs different minds, attitude and action to fully understand and experience it for the purpose of gaining from it even more.
We need to have a different posture!
Why? Because when we don't know how to use something properly, we'll abuse it thoroughly.
However because the STEEM blockchain is bigger than any one individual being a decentralised platform, I believe no abuse can break the system. Just having 1 @nathanmars is enough to disrupt the whole abuse culture on STEEM.
Nothing massive has changed since, however, at least his actions have disrupt a lot people's feelings, good or bad.
What I'll be doing this week......
In the coming days I'll be sharing some videos on DTube of what STEEM is all about as a blockchain and as a sharing based economy so that we can better understand the pool we're all benefiting from.
I'll also share on what I think @nathanmars is trying to accomplish in the big picture as well as what we can all do besides community engagement to further solidify the value of STEEM.
I've actually been a part of an ICO that I never put in a single cent but I have 6,000 plus tokens. I did put in STEEM and SBD but they weren't mine. How's this possible? I'll be sharing on this sharing based economics as well this week.
I'm very excited to be sharing about this this coming week. My video on 'sharonomics' (not a term I came up with) will be out tonight hopefully.
I'll end this post with a statement that came to mind this morning when I woke up,
If we want an unprecented future to happen, we need people that will take unprecented steps of action that have never been taken before.
Let us be that people STEEMians!

Here's a post by a witness @kevinwong that can give you a kick-start to understanding the STEEM economics better. Many thoughts on this subject I share as well and will be covering in my upcoming DTube videos.
Understanding Steem's Economic Flaw, Its Effects on the Network, and How to Fix It.
