I posted last weekend about my proposed #CryptoWalk on Sunday around the village of #Arlesey where I live and some of the countryside around here. I have had a few responses from people who think they can make it. So far @redrica, @adetorrent, @molometer, @hockney and @todayslight are interested. Even if it is just three or four of us it could still be fun. I did not know that @molometer was pretty close to me, so we ought to meet up anyway. A few other people are away or busy, but if it works out I am happy to do it again or maybe someone else will do something similar. If you know of anyone who may be interested then please let them know. Arlsey is a short train ride from King's Cross.
Not a typical Arlesey house, but this one has just been repaired after a car drive into it a while back.
I had a bit of an adventure getting home today. All the trains were canceled due to power issues and I ended up getting a couple of buses that go all around the countryside. It takes a while and costs more than the train. I did stop for a bit of shopping, so it was not totally wasted time. I usually cycle home on a Friday, but had planned to shop and also the weather is not great.
Some other people you can check out this #FollowFriday are:
- @papilloncharity are an organising helping disadvantaged people in South Africa. I have followed them since we were on Tsu together and they are still doing good work.
- @run.kirsty.run is the girlfriend of @run.vince.run and you can guess what they are into. Lots of runners on Steem on inspire you.
- @anthonyadavisii is a dedicated fighter of abuse on Steem and has been a key part of the @SteemFlagRewards efforts. He just celebrated becoming a dolphin.
- @skycorridors is a wonderful singer who just won the Open Mic contest. She writes her own songs and you should check her out.
In the doghouse
There are people you definitely should not follow as it just encourages them to do bad things. This set of accounts post multiple times a day suggesting posts to vote on, but nobody is looking and they just duplicate each other. This is done purely for profit that all goes to on account. I regard them as spam and would suggest you flag them if they mention you and they may eventually realise it is not worth it. I get these notifications in eSteem and Partiko that do not provide any way to filter them.
As always you are welcome to make your own suggestions in the comments or your own #FollowFriday post.
