This app could save your life! Or your loved one.
A lot of people were shaken up by Anthony Bourdain, immediately after Kate Spade. That was a real wake-up call to how serious things can get when someone feels lonely and depressed.

There are a lot of conspiracy theories out there but even if you don't believe that Bourdain and Spade committed suicide out of depression and anxiety, it's important to know that mental health is very serious.
This app can help people who are in those kinds of situations. The best thing is that it gives you an understanding stranger to chat with. You can also share your feelings and thoughts.
There is a therapy bot that greets you and you can start chatting with her. Supposedly the therapists are licensed.
If you need a quick timeout to reset, there is a handy mindfulness session that has a 5 minute timer and you listen to someone guide you through a quiet meditation of sorts.
If you don't want to talk to a therapist and you just want a listener, you can find a listener based on age group, category, keywords.
The hamburger menu includes therapists, listeners, mindfulness meditation sessions, videos, a feed of helpful and gentle uplifting messages, as well as the usual notifications, alerts.
Even though the UI looks like it was cloned from 2001, the important thing is that this app connects you to a community of people you can chat with.
If you are lonely, anxious or depressed and just want to chat with someone who understands your situation, then give this app a try.

Like some other mental wellness apps, this app requires you to log in with a username and email in order to use it, which is kind of annoying but maybe that's a law.
