Cooking with Steemit. Simple ingredients to interesting dishes.
What do you have in your store cupboard and what are you going to do with them? While I'm on the topic of food I'm quite fond of using simple and ordinary ingredients in cooking and turning them into something

When in Arbroath.
When I was up North we took a little detour through Abroath. This is a lovely coastal town. It has a few places of interest, things to do, a football club and an ancient ruined abbey. There is a pretty

My 2018 - This is my Hobby: Gigs, Gigs and Gigs
If you've followed my other posts at all then you'd know that I am a photographer. Now it may surprise you to read this but I do not count photography as one of my hobbies. To me it's a job. It's a business.

Over the Sea to Skye
When someone visits Scotland one of the first questions or suggestions they will be given will be "have you been to Skye?" It's a lovely island. Stunning landscape. Easy to get to. What's not

Part 3. Composition. Let's just get right down to the nitty and the gritty of photography. Every course or guide about photography says the same thing at this point. It will mention rule of thirds, lead

Back to the Iron Age in Scotland.
Back to the Iron Age. If you get the chance to ever go, I highly recommend paying a visit to the Crannog centre at Loch Tay. This is a recreation of an Iron age dwelling. Crannogs were round houses built
