Hollow Knight is a great game, maybe a little too melancholy for me at times but it is a cool aesthetic. IDK about getting away from Elden Ring into Hollow Knight though, both games involve a lot of dying

Advance Wars was one of my favorite games growing up. I remember the last mission taking me weeks to clear, it was so hard at the time. Definitely a classic
