La selfie, para mí, es más que una simple foto. Es un acto de conexión conmigo misma, un diálogo en el que me permito explorar mis emociones y reflejar lo que soy. Cada vez que levanto el teléfono frente a mi rostro, no solo capturo una imagen; me estoy mostrando tal cual soy, con mis sonrisas y mis gestos auténticos.
En esos momentos, enfrento mis tristezas y rabias, pero también celebro mis alegrías. Cada selfie es un recordatorio de que, a pesar de las dificultades, puedo sonreír y proyectar algo positivo. Quiero que los demás vean más allá de la imagen: que noten la historia que hay detrás de cada expresión, de cada línea en mi cara.
A veces me siento un poco narcisista, pero me he dado cuenta de que este autocuidado es necesario. Reconocerme, valorarme, es así como puedo encontrar el respeto que merezco. Mirar esas fotos me permite darme cuenta de cuánto he crecido, de los caminos recorridos y de las lecciones aprendidas. Cada captura es una página de mi vida, un momento congelado en el tiempo que me invita a reflexionar sobre cómo he cambiado.
La felicidad no siempre está presente, pero en esos instantes de autoexploración, logro entender que es parte del viaje. A través de mi propia mirada, puedo honrar mis experiencias, positivas y negativas. Soy un ser humano que vive, siente, aprende y evoluciona. Quiero seguir estudiándome, ser consciente de mi esencia y, sobre todo, sentirme plena en mi ser.
Así que sigo tomando selfies, porque cada vez que lo hago, me acerco un poco más a la persona que deseo ser. Me quiero a mí misma, y eso es lo que realmente importa.

The selfie, for me, is more than just a photo. It is an act of connecting with myself, a dialogue in which I allow myself to explore my emotions and reflect who I am. Every time I raise the phone in front of my face, I'm not just capturing an image; I'm showing myself as I am, with my authentic smiles and gestures.
In those moments, I face my sadness and anger, but I also celebrate my joys. Each selfie is a reminder that, despite the difficulties, I can smile and project something positive. I want others to see beyond the image: to notice the story behind every expression, every line on my face.
Sometimes I feel a bit narcissistic, but I have realized that this self-care is necessary. To recognize myself, to value myself, that's how I can find the respect I deserve. Looking at these photos allows me to realize how much I have grown, the roads I have traveled and the lessons I have learned. Each capture is a page of my life, a moment frozen in time that invites me to reflect on how I have changed.
Happiness is not always present, but in those moments of self-exploration, I come to understand that it is part of the journey. Through my own gaze, I can honor my experiences, positive and negative. I am a human being who lives, feels, learns and evolves. I want to continue to study myself, to be aware of my essence and, above all, to feel fulfilled in my being.
