Training combos
Hello, how are you doing, #Hive and #SWC family? I send a warm greeting to all the athletes involved in the calisthenics world. I hope you continue to grow in this sport every day and strengthen yourself both physically and mentally. Today I want to share with you my training, which focused primarily on performing combos of static elements. I trained on the bouldering court in Michelena, Táchira state, accompanied by my partner @mclionblack-sw, who observed and evaluated my technical execution, as one of my strengths is precisely static work.
I began the session with a complete warm-up, prioritizing the shoulder joints, triceps, and biceps. I then performed front lever and advanced tuck planche approaches, as well as "skin the cat" exercises to prepare the scapular area. I also did handstand push-ups to properly activate my shoulders, which helped me prepare my body for the more demanding movements.
After warming up and activating properly, I started throwing combos. I started with a planche straddle on the parallel bars, holding it as cleanly as possible for at least 3 seconds. I followed with a full front lever, holding it for 5 seconds, and then moved on to the back lever, holding it for 4 seconds. I finished the sequence with a 3-second front lever on the parallel bars. I repeated this combo four times, always paying attention to technique, posture, and form. I rested for 6 to 7 minutes between each set. This type of training helps me improve muscle memory, endurance, and control, key elements for future competitions.

I thank you for taking the time to read my post, I hope you like it and follow me for more.
