I love savory pies, the cookie dough of a pie, combined with the flavors of the vegetables or meats, makes everything perfect. When it is baking, you start to enjoy the aroma. Yes, I love to cook and I enjoy every stage of a recipe at home.

Me encantan los pasteles salados, la masa de galleta de una tarta, combinada con los sabores de los vegetales o carnes, hace que todo sea perfecto. Cuando se esta horneando, comienzas a disfrutar con el aroma. Previously, I presented a recipe where I used the Basque pie dough. The Basque pie is a traditional dessert from Spain, which is filled with pastry cream. Looking to vary the recipe, I decided to use this dough again, I really love it, and prepare a savory pie style cake, that is, without a pastry lid on top. When I think of pies of this type, I think of zucchini, it adds texture, flavor and volume to any preparation.

Anteriormente, les presente una receta donde utilice la masa del pastel vasco. El pastel vasco es un postre tradicional de España, el cual lleva de relleno crema pastelera. Buscando variar la receta, decidí utilizar esta masa de nuevo, realmente me encanta, y preparar un pastel salado al estilo tarta, es decir, que no lleva una tapa de masa arriba. Cuando pienso en pasteles de este tipo, pienso en el calabacín, aporta textura, sabor y volumen a cualquier preparación.

Otro de los ingredientes que utilice fue el chorizo, que puede ser sustituido por cualquier salchicha, tocineta o inclusive pollo. Pero también, puedes optar por no incluir ningún tipo de carne y agregar un extra de vegetales. Este pastel no necesita acompañantes, una porción es suficiente para la hora de comer, pero puedes agregar una ensalada ligera de lechuga y tomates para aportar un toque fresco a la comida. • Debemos picar los vegetales en cuadros pequeños. Lo pasamos a una sartén y cocinamos con aceite para que suelten los jugos y así la preparación no tenga tanta humedad.

• En un bol batir los huevos con la leche, agregar sal y especies.

• In a 30cm long by 20cm wide mold, place all the dough, well distributed on all sides. You can use a rolling pin to flatten the dough or use your hands.
• Place the chorizo rolls, then place the vegetables and finally place the egg beaten with milk.

• En un molde de 30cm de largo por 20cm de ancho, colocar toda la masa, bien distribuida por todos lados. Puedes usar un rodillo para aplastar la masa o usar tus manos.
• Colocaremos las ruedas de chorizo, luego vamos a colocar los vegetales y por último vamos a colocar el huevo batido con leche.

• Carefully bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 40 minutes. The pie is ready when you insert a toothpick in the center and it comes out dry.
• Let it cool a little and cut portions to your choice.

• Con mucho cuidado, llevamos al horno precalentado a 180°C y cocinamos alrededor de 40min. El pastel ya es listo cuando insertas un palito en el centro y este sale seco.
• Deja que se enfrié un poco y corta porciones a tu gusto.
