I am finally adjusted to my current routine and schedule. As of now, everything went fairly fine and I am starting another journey of 16/8 window eating intermittent fasting. The first month of my journey has been completed. Now, onto another month where I hoped to lose more than 6 pounds. Somehow, this fifth week I noticed my weight lost has been slowing down.
I wonder what could be improved from my intermittent fasting journey. I researched that quitting sugar may have great benefits to the body and reduce inflammation. It may also help with alleviating brain fogs which I have quite frequently these days. So, I thought, why not take up the challenge?
How are you going to cut sugar?
First cutting white sugar. Second, minimizing complex carbohydrates. Third cutting off processed foods. Fourth, no cookies, cakes and chips. Fifth, no alcohol.
Did you lose any weight?
I have not jump into a scale but overall, I felt pretty good.
This firth week, I felt pretty discouraged because my progress is slow. I also felt quite insecure about my current weight especially when I scrolled on fitness youtube and tik-tok dances. I felt as though these days, looks matter and if you are ugly and overweight there is no place for you to thrive. So, that kind of thoughts have been pressuring me to lose the weight rather quickly.Though on the positive note, it lso aligned with my top 5 current goals where I mentioned losing weight and gaining more confidence. I will be sharing how I felt about quitting the sugar and processed food in the upcoming update.
I also decided that Thursday is going to be the day I write an update to my Intermittent Fasting journey. If you are in the same journey as I am, feel free to reach out my discord and/leave me your experience in the comment section.
