In this section of my blog I invite users to challenge me to make a figure. I have received many challenges that have led me to make figures that I had never made before and this certainly stimulates my creativity and ingenuity to complete the challenges. Recently I completed the challenge to make a Xenomophro (Alien).

It was not easy at all, so I invite you to join me in the step by step of this figure, whose result left me quite satisfied.
No fue para nada sencillo, así que los invito a acompañarme en el paso a paso de esta figura, cuyo resultado me dejó bastante satisfecho.
The materials I used to make this figure were the following:
*Plastilin
*Wire
*Thread
*Glue
*Tools: scissors, blade, sewing needle and knitting needle.
As I always do with these types of figures, I made a wire skeleton to work on. It is a skeleton composed of three pieces. A long piece of wire that goes from the base to the neck, another one that serves for the right arm and leg, and the last one that only serves for the left arm. All attached with thread and glue.
Los materiales que utilicé para realizar esta figura fueron los siguientes:

*Herramienas: tijera, hojilla, aguja de coser y tejer.
Como siempre hago con este tipo de figuras, hice un esqueleto de alambre sobre el cual trabajar. Es un esqueleto compuesto por tres piezas. Un largo trozo de alambre que va desde la base hasa el cuello, otro que sirve para el brazo derecho y la pierna, y el último que solo sirve para el brazo izquierdo. Todo sujeto con hilo y pegamento.
As soon as the wire skeleton was dry, I began to cover it with plasticine. I used a rather opaque dark blue color, with this I covered the legs up to the knees and then the torso and arms, as shown in the pictures below.
Tan pronto estuvo seco el esqueleto de allambre, comencé a cubrirllo con plastilina. Usé un color azul oscuro bastante opaco, con este cubrí las piernas hasta las rodillas y luego el torso y llos brazos, tal como se observa en las fotografías de abajo.

When I finished, I took some brown plasticine and covered the area of the boots, helping myself with a knitting needle to mold the plasticine until I got the desired shape, that of the boots.

This character has an outfit with long pieces of fabric hanging over the thighs, so I used thin layers of plasticine to cover the waist of the figure, making ripples in the plasticine to create movement in the clothes, so they don't look flat or stiff.
Este personaje tiene una vestimenta con largos trozos de tela colgando sobre los muslos, así que usé delgadas capas de plastilina para cubrir la cintura de la figura, haciendo ondulaciones en la plastilina para crear movimiento en la ropa, para que no se vea plana o rigida.

Next I used the knitting needle to make the folds of the clothes on the legs, something that gives more realism to the figure. I also placed two thin lines of plasticine on top of the thin layer covering the legs.
A continuación usé la aguja de tejer para hacer los pliegues de la ropa en las piernas, algo que da mayor realismo a la figura. También coloqué dos delgadas líneas de plastilina por encima de la delgada capa que cubre las piernas.
The type of clothing of the character is not tight to the body; on the contrary, it is loose and without any kind of button or zipper. Therefore, I placed more plasticine on the torso of the figure to simulate this effect; in addition, I used the knitting needle to make the folds of the clothes on the arms and torso.
El tipo de ropa del personaje no es ajustada el cuerpo; por el contrario, está holgada y sin ningun tipo de botón o cierre. Por ello, coloqué mas plastilina sobre el torso de la figura para simular este efecto; además, usé la aguja de tejer para hacer los pliegues de la ropa en brazos y torso.
For the skin tone of the character I used a pink color mixed with a little orange. With this color I made the character's neck and began to mold the decoration and folds of the torso's clothes with the help of a fine sewing needle.
Para el tono de piel del personaje usé un color rosa mezclado con un poco de naranja. Con este color hice el cuello del personaje y comencé a moldear el decorado y pliegues de la ropa del torso con ayuda de una aguja fina de coser.
With lighter blue plasticine, I made two lines of plasticine for the lines on the character's clothes. With the fine sewing needle I finished adding more lines and details on the clothes, as seen in the second photo below.
Con plastilina de color azul más claro, hice dos líneas de plastilina para llistones en la vestimenta del personaje. Con la aguja fina de coser terminé agregando más líneas y detalles en la ropa, tal como se observa en la segunda foto de abajo.

This character wears a belt, so I made a long line of plasticine that I flattened and cut with the scissors to achieve the desired shape, as shown in the image below:
Este personaje usa un cinturón, para ello hice una larga línea de plastilina que aplasté y corté con la tijera para lograr la forma deseada, tal como se observa en la imagen a continuación:
I put this brown fabric belt in place, making sure it was below the bulging area of the torso and above the plasticine strips at the bottom.
Este cinturón de tela marrón lo coloqué en su lugar, procurando que quedase debajo de la zona abultada del torso y por encima de las tiras de plastilina de la parte inferior.
The next step was to add details such as straps, buckles and suspenders. This is what the belt looked like:
Lo siguiente fue agregar detalles como correas, hebillas y tirantes. Así quedó el cinturón:
Well, to make the cape I used an intense red color, so that it would contrast well with the rest of the clothes. To make it I simply flattened some brown plasticine and cut the shape with a scissors. Then I used the knitting needle to create the wrinkles and ripples on the cape.
Bien, para hacer la capa usé un color rojo intenso, para que haga bastante contraste con el resto de la ropa. Para hacerla simplemente aplasté bastante plastilina marrón y corté la forma con una tijera. Luego usé la aguja de tejer para crear las arrugas y ondulaciones en la capa.

The next thing I added were the golden details, such as the edges of the red cape and the pendant that the character has, known as the agamotto eye.
Lo siguiente que agregué fueron los detalles dorados, tales como los bordes de la capa roja y el colgante que tiene el personaje, conocido como el ojo de agamotto.
The body was practically ready, I just had to add the hands and that was it. Below you can see how the character's body looks like at this point:

At this point what gave me the most difficulty was to make the head and face of the character, because it is very small; however, I think it looked good for the size it has.
Below you can take a look at the head of the figure before putting it in place and once placed on the body of the figure, without the cape.
En este punto lo que más dificultad me dio fue hacer la cabeza y rostro del personaje, pues es muy pequeña; sin embargo, creo que quedó bien para el tamaño que tiene.

Once the head was secured in place, I put the cape back on the figure. You can see how it looked with all the pieces in place:

The last thing I did was to decorate the wire base, for this I used orange plasticine, a characteristic color of Strange's powers.
