Todo esto me ha hecho pensar, que en Hive tenemos la opción de elegir estas posibilidad. Lo mejor del caso es que aquí podemos vivir con ingresos pasivos, distribuyendo riqueza a otras personas y no desde la caridad y la filantropía, sino por el esfuerzo y capacidad de mostrar sus talentos.
Así entonces, desde que estoy en Hive, puedo decir que sé exactamente qué haría si me ganar un millón, o lo que sea. Is it possible that there are people who just spend it and get on with their lives, being happy without feeling guilty?
It could also happen that someone wins the lottery and, doing the math, that money is enough for them to live a peaceful life until they die. Would you blame them for not growing that money?
All of this has made me think that at Hive we have the option to choose these possibilities. The best part is that here we can live on passive income, distributing wealth to other people, not through charity and philanthropy, but through effort and the ability to showcase their talents.
So, since I've been at Hive, I can say that I know exactly what I would do if I won a million, or whatever. I would give a part to my family and with the other part I would become a whale, to support this community. That money serves to move this ecosystem forward, without creating slave jobs that depend on consumption and the impoverishment of many. I believe that here we have an example of a sustainable economy that is friendly to humans and nature.
