It's been a long time since I last shared a post in the Explore and Expand Splinterlands Lore series. I'm really excited that this week's theme is all about that.

The Pantheon: Mitreyya
Do you know the essence of Mitreyya? The Goddess of Power, Fire, and Courage. And, as always, her domain burned with an insatiable flame, shaping the fate of the planes of existence in a manner as chaotic as it was beautiful.

From the beginning, when the Primordials still worked in unison to shape the cosmos, Mitreyya already displayed her impetuous spirit. She created the Plane of Fire not just to have her own domain, but to prove her supremacy over the others.
She always believed that only the strong deserved to prosper, and nothing purified better than the flames of adversity.
But not everyone shared her vision. Her brother Ugnash, with his patience as solid as stone, tried to balance her brute force with the stability of the Splinterlands' earth. Meanwhile, her sister Xelia, as unpredictable as a storm, was always one step ahead, undermining Mitreyya’s plans by creating the Plane of Water to subdue Fire. The balance between these three created an eternal dance.
Destruction and reconstruction, an unbreakable cycle that defined existence.
When Mitreyya created her children, Lareus and Votix, she expected unwavering loyalty from them an extension of her own will.
But pride can be a trap.
Lareus, forged in magma and shaped to perfection, was her favorite child. Mitreyya gave him everything she had.
Power, glory, and freedom.
But it was precisely that freedom that drove him away from her.
He began to wander across the planes, seduced by mortal pleasures, forgetting his origins. To Mitreyya, this was an affront. How could her firstborn, to whom she had given everything, reject her this way?
Meanwhile, Votix, the naga born of fire itself, grew up in her brother’s shadow, her rage and envy burning like a volcano ready to erupt. Unlike Lareus, who sought pleasure, Votix found satisfaction in battle. Her eyes burned with the promise of war, and her heart beat to the rhythm of flames consuming everything around her. She desired more than her mother’s acceptance; she wanted to prove she was the true heir of Fire.
But Mitreyya was no fool.
She observed her children and understood their flaws.
She knew that Lareus was weak in spirit, seduced by fleeting desires, and that Votix was unstable, blinded by hatred. Neither was worthy of her succession. It was then that Mitreyya turned her gaze toward mortals.
Unlike the Primordials, who were trapped by their own pride and eternal nature, mortals had to fight for every breath, every achievement.
They were not born powerful; they became powerful.
Mitreyya then began to test her creations.
The weakest were swallowed by the desert, the bravest survived and thrived. She whispered into the ears of warriors and kings, offering them power in exchange for devotion. Many feared her, but those who accepted her fire into their hearts became champions worthy of her blessing.
However, Mitreyya was not merciful.
For every mortal who betrayed her, a city burned to ashes. For every broken promise, a nation succumbed to drought and misery. There was no room for weakness in her domain. Those who dared invoke her name without the courage to follow her were consumed by her wrath.
And so, Mitreyya continued her divine game, shaping champions, destroying empires, and watching the planes rearrange to her will. Her siblings still tried to maintain balance, but she knew the truth: fire would always find a way.
Because in the end, no matter how many times water tries to extinguish it or earth tries to bury it.
Fire always returns.

Desde o princípio, quando os Primordiais ainda trabalhavam em uníssono para dar forma ao cosmos, Mitreyya já demonstrava seu espírito impetuoso. Criou o Plano do Fogo não apenas para ter um domínio próprio, mas para provar sua supremacia sobre os demais.
Ela sempre acreditou que somente os fortes mereciam prosperar, e nada purificava melhor do que as chamas da adversidade.
Mas sua visão não era compartilhada por todos. Seu irmão Ugnash, com sua paciência de pedra, tentava equilibrar sua força bruta com a estabilidade da terra de Splinterlands. Já sua irmã Xelia, imprevisível como uma tempestade, estava sempre um passo à frente, minando os planos de Mitreyya ao criar o Plano da Água para subjugar o Fogo. O equilíbrio entre esses três criou uma dança eterna.
Destruição e reconstrução, um ciclo inquebrável que definia a existência.
Quando Mitreyya criou seus filhos, Lareus e Votix, ela esperava deles uma lealdade incondicional, uma extensão de sua própria vontade.
Mas o orgulho pode ser uma armadilha.
Lareus, forjado em magma e moldado à perfeição, era seu filho favorito. Mitreyya lhe deu tudo que tinha.
Poder, glória e liberdade.
Mas foi exatamente essa liberdade que o afastou dela.
Ele passou a vagar pelos planos, seduzido pelos prazeres mortais, esquecendo-se de suas origens. Para Mitreyya, isso foi uma afronta. Como seu primogênito, a quem dera tudo, podia rejeitá-la dessa forma?
Enquanto isso, Votix, a naga nascida do próprio fogo, crescia à sombra do irmão, sua raiva e inveja queimando como um vulcão prestes a explodir. Ao contrário de Lareus, que buscava prazer, Votix encontrava sua satisfação na batalha. Seus olhos ardiam com a promessa de guerra, e seu coração pulsava ao ritmo das chamas devorando tudo ao redor. Ela desejava mais do que a aceitação de sua mãe; queria provar que era a verdadeira herdeira do Fogo.
Mas Mitreyya não era ingênua é claro.
Observava seus filhos e compreendia suas falhas.
Sabia que Lareus era fraco de espírito, seduzido por desejos efêmeros, e que Votix era instável, cega pelo ódio. Nenhum deles era digno de sua sucessão. Foi então que Mitreyya voltou seu olhar para os mortais.
Diferente dos Primordiais, que estavam presos ao próprio orgulho e natureza eterna, os mortais precisavam lutar por cada fôlego, cada conquista.
Eles não nasciam poderosos, tornavam-se poderosos.
Mitreyya passou, então, a testar suas criações.
Os mais fracos eram engolidos pelo deserto, os mais corajosos sobreviviam e prosperavam. Ela sussurrava nos ouvidos de guerreiros e reis, oferecendo-lhes poder em troca de devoção. Muitos a temiam, mas aqueles que aceitavam seu fogo em seus corações tornavam-se campeões dignos de sua benção.
No entanto, Mitreyya não era misericordiosa.
Para cada mortal que a traía, uma cidade ardia em chamas. Para cada promessa quebrada, uma nação sucumbia à seca e à miséria. Não havia espaço para fraqueza em seu reino. Aqueles que ousavam invocar seu nome sem a coragem para segui-la eram consumidos por sua ira.
E assim, Mitreyya continuou seu jogo divino, moldando campeões, destruindo impérios e observando os planos se rearranjarem à sua vontade. Seus irmãos ainda tentavam manter o equilíbrio, mas ela sabia a verdade: o fogo sempre encontraria um caminho.
Porque no final das contas, não importa quantas vezes a água tente apagá-lo ou a terra tente soterrá-lo.
O fogo sempre retorna.
