Apologies for missing last week's edition of gaming content but the last few days and weeks were a mess with plenty of work and tasks to be done in advance due to some places where I needed to be in person and kept me away from getting ready my blogs.
So with this thought, I've been thinking that there is not better way to stay the new week but with a very satisfying video of customizing my first car in Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator.
If some of you know Gabriela as wolfie, then you most likely can understand how much I enjoy customizing things in games. Either they are houses, characters, cars... or literally anything.
The madness started when I was a kid and ended up spending lots of hours in Sims and MMORPG games where you could customize your character, but as the gaming industry evolved a lot, I often end up spending no less than 2 hours customizing my character in every game because of obvious reasons like have more options to pick from.
Either way, today is not about character customization as that is quite a limited feature for Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator, but about a car. My first ever car purchased in this game and yet a reminder that I should record a video with my collection of cars as I already own a lot more now in this game than back when this video was recorded.
Sadly, the game doesn't come with lots of features when you get to customize your car either, or at least not as many as you get in Forza Horizon, Need for Speed, The Crew and other car related games.
But for a simulator, I do think that it's enough for now, especially that you get to enjoy some out-of-the-box ones and not just the common rims, shifters, decorations, etc.
The biggest surprise comes on the painting side where you won't find anything taxi-like, or with Taxi printed on the body of the car as some would expect for a Taxi simulator game. These are actually part of a separate DLC which you need to buy in addition to what the game costs, which I found a bit unfair, but took it as an opportunity to opt in for a crazy car colour which I wouldn't normally pick.
Anyway, I'll stop here so I won't break all the surprises, but only promise that it's a short video with a very interesting outcome that not many would expect!
