Now this is what I'm talking about! It's a build like this one today that continues to remind me just why Lego is so damn impressive. Minifigs are great, but this, this is just great imagination.
With the exception of one piece I've never seen before, all of these are "standard" and "normal" lego pieces and bricks. I've used the saucer-shaped piece previously as part of a drum set, and the "levers" are used in multiple space vehicles. The curvy piece is the new one which pulls it all together.
Lookit! A phonograph! I'm in complete and utter awe. It even includes the player arm and vinyl record!
The Yule Story, Continued
With the excitement of a new guest abated, the students all returned to their respective rooms to
finish preparing for the ball. Up in their room, Ron pulled out an old phonograph that his father had sent them. Harry had no idea where Ron stored that, since it seemed to come out from under a bed. Magic.
After putting on a record and starting it playing, Ron grinned. "The Weird Sisters," he announced. "To get us in the mood."
