My Moon Karts Goals
+ My Results and Rewards in Season 32
It is several months that I play and have fun on Moonkarts which is a Hive-based arcade race game that is part of the games featured on the Arcade Colony platform.
In this post, I share my goals on Moon Karts and my results and rewards I received thanks to my gaming activity during season 32, which ended a few hours ago.
Moon Karts is a fun game and for this reason, I believe it has potential, even though there are several aspects that could be improved, including the NFT Market, which lacks two important and useful pieces of information:
- card statistics
- the BCX of the cards for sale = the number of copies that make up a card.
This is a problem for both the buyer and the seller.
For example, if a player wants to buy a Kart-type NFT such as Astro Kart, they cannot choose the card with the lowest cost in BCX because this information is not available.
A seller who has a card consisting of two cards (the result of merging two cards) is unlikely to sell that card because the price will probably be higher than the card with the lowest price, even if it has a lower price for BCX than the card at the top of the list.
I hope the development team will improve the Market section soon, and I plan to write an entire post on this topic. I will also try to find out if there is a way/tool to get more information about the cards for sale in the current situation.
I think all Hive-based games should follow the example of the Splinterlands Market, which is very functional because it is full of useful information.
Having closed this small parenthesis on an aspect that I believe should be improved as soon as possible, I will now share my goals on Moon Karts, which involve various assets and dynamics of the game.
I have three main goals on Moon Karts:
accumulate 500K staked COLONY to get a higher bonus multiplier
Accumulate 100 staked SCRIPT to increase the number of cards I can stake in the Auto Vault section in order to increase my FUEL production.
Improve my Kart Preset stats by purchasing NFTs from the market or CENTAURI packs on Hive Engine.
On Moon Karts, seasons last 10 days, and season 33 began about 4 hours ago and will end in 9 days and 20 hours.
There is no section, as there is on Splinterlands, that allows you to see the leaderboard results from previous seasons, and this would be another useful addition that I will suggest to the development team.
About an hour before the end of season 32, I took screenshots of all the positions on the two leaderboards to get useful information on the number of active players, which I will be able to compare with the number of active players in the current season.
The number of active players is something I consider very important in games, and I will try to keep track of this information season after season.

In the season prior to the current one, season 32, I mainly used this Kart Preset:
- Kart: Arachno Eclipse
- Driver: Drift
- Accessories: Flex Edge, Jet Flow, Grip Ease
- Tech Cards: Reinforced Body, Tire Upgrade, Engine Enhancement
- Fuel Consumption: 260.2
In the next image, you can see the game stats of my Kart Preset.
In my opinion, in races with two players, it makes little sense to start a missile war that prolongs the race and almost always results in a division of orbitals in the race.
For this reason, I always leave 3 orbitals to my opponent, but if my opponent wants to take all the orbitals, I equip my Kart with Power Ups and use my Moonfire Missile to rebalance the distribution of Orbitals.
When I use my Moon Fire missile in a race, my Preset Kart's FUEL consumption increases: 260.2 FUEL -> 302.7 FUEL.
In season 32, I played much less than in season 31 because I was on holiday with my family from Friday to Sunday.
In season 31, I exceeded 2300 rating points, while in season 32, I stopped at 1789 rating points.
In season 32, my final results were:
- 7th place in the Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 12260 COLONY (previous season: 6th place: 26738 COLONY)
- 11th place in the Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 7648 COLONY (previous season: 7th place: 9390 COLONY)
Compared to the previous season, I received fewer COLONY token rewards, but at the same time I saved some FUEL and can start playing in the current season with 21587.31 FUEL available.
Based on the market value (Highest Bid) of COLONY tokens and the market value of HIVE tokens ($0.232), I calculated the value in SWAP.HIVE and dollars of the seasonal reward I received for playing in season 32.
Adding up the rewards from the two leaderboards, I received a total seasonal reward of 19908 COLONY = 20.03 SWAP.HIVE = 4.64$
It wasn't my best season in terms of rewards, but season after season, the total rewards I've received from playing Moon Karts since season 13 are increasing: 340668 COLONY = 342.78 SWAP.HIVE = 79.52$
Thanks to the rewards I earned from playing in season 31 (leaderboards + races) and thanks to the COLONY tokens I earned from daily airdrop as SPS stakeholder and GLX stakeholder today I was able to add +21240.36 COLONY to my stake (20954.46 + 285.90).
Today I staked all my liquid COLONYs.
I now have 447692.82 COLONY staked.
I am just over 40K COLONY staked short of reaching the 20x multiplier when I have a rating score below 2000 points.
As for my goal of accumulating 500K staked COLONY, I have completed 89.54% of the goal.
This season, I will try to:
- play at least 150 races
- exceed 2000 rating points
- finish at least in the top 10 of the two seasonal leaderboards

I miei obiettivi su Moon Karts
+ I miei risultati nella stagione 32
Sono diversi mesi che gioco e mi diverto su Moonkarts che è un Hive-based arcade race game che fa parte dei giochi presenti sulla piattaforma Arcade Colony.
In questo post condivido i miei obiettivi su Moon Karts e i miei risultati e le ricompense che ho ricevuto grazie alla mia attività di gioco durante la stagione 32 che è terminata poche ore fa.
Moon Karts è un gioco divertente e per questo motivo ha potenziale secondo me anche se ci sono diversi aspetti da migliorare tra cui il Market degli NFT nel quale mancano due informazioni importanti e utili:
- le statistiche delle carte
- l'indicazione dei BCX delle carte in vendita = il numero di copie di cui è composta una carta.
Questo è un problema sia per l'acquirente che per il venditore.
Ad esempio se un giocatore vuole acquistare un NFT di tipo Kart come ad esempio 1 Astro Kart non può scegliere la carta che ha il costo più basso per BCX perchè questa informazione non c'è.
Il venditore che ha una carta composta da due carte (risultato del merge di due carte) difficilmente venderà quella carta perchè il prezzo sarà probabilmente maggiore anche se avesse un prezzo più basso per BCX rispetto alla carta in cima della lista.
Spero che il team di sviluppo migliori presto la sezione Market e ho in programma di scrivere un intero post su questo argomento e cercherò anche di capire se c'è un modo/tool per avere più informazioni sulle carte in vendita nella situazione attuale.
Penso che tutti i giochi Hive-based dovrebbero prendere esempio dal Market di Splinterlands che molto funzionale perchè ricco di informazioni utili.
Chiusa questa piccola parentesi su un aspetto che secondo me andrebbe migliorato al più presto adesso condivido i miei obiettivi su Moon Karts che riguardano diversi assets e dinamiche del gioco.
I miei obiettivi su Moon Karts sono principalmente tre:
accumulare 500K COLONY staked per avere un bonus multiplier maggiore
accumulare 100 SCRIPT staked per aumentare il numero di carte che posso mettere in staking nella sezione Auto Vault in modo da aumentare la mia produzione di FUEL.
migliorare le statistiche del mio Kart Preset acquistando NFT dal market o CENTAURI packs su Hive Engine.
Su Moon Karts le stagioni hanno una durata di 10 giorni e da circa 4 ore è iniziata la stagione 33 che terminerà tra 9 giorni e 20 ore.
Non c'è una sezione, come su Splinterlands, che permette di vedere i risultati delle leaderboards delle stagioni precedenti e questa sarebbe un ulteriore utile aggiunta che proporrò al team di sviluppo.
A circa un ora dalla fine della stagione 32 ho fatto degli screenshots di tutte le posizioni delle due leaderboards per avere informazioni utili sul numero dei giocatori attivi che potrò confrontare con il numero dei giocatori attivi nella stagione in corso.
Il numero dei giocatori attivi è un elemento che considero molto importante nei giochi e cercherò di tenere traccia di questa informazione stagione dopo stagione.

Nella stagione precedente a quella in corso, la stagione 32 ho utilizzato principalmente questo Kart Preset:

Quando gioco contro nuovi giocatori o contro giocatori che hanno statistiche inferiori al mio Kart Preset lascio sempre tre orbitals e qualche COLONY lungo il percorso di gara.
Se invece trovo giocatori più veloci di me che prendono tutti gli Orbitals equipaggio il mio Kart con i Power Ups e uso il mio Moonfire Missile per riequilibrare la distribuzione degli Orbitals.
Quando porto in gare il mio Moon Fire missile il consumo in FUEL del mio Kart Preset aumenta: 260.2 FUEL -> 302.7 FUEL.
Nella stagione 32 ho giocato molto meno rispetto alla stagione 31 perchè da venerdi a domenica sono stato in vacanza con la mia famiglia.
Nella stagione 31 avevo superato 2300 punti di rating mentre nella stagione 32 mi sono fermato a 1789 punti di rating.
Nella stagione 32 i miei risultati finali sono stati:
- 7° posto nella Orbital Leaderboard - Reward: 12260 COLONY (stagione precedente: 6° posto: 26738 COLONY)
- 11° posto nella Ranked Leaderboard - Reward: 7648 COLONY (stagione precedente: 7° posto: 9390 COLONY)
Rispetto alla stagione precedente, ho ricevuto delle ricompense in token COLONY inferiori ma allo stesso tempo ho risparmiato del FUEL e posso iniziare a giocare nella stagione in corso con 21587.31 FUEL a disposizione.
In base al valore di mercato (Highest Bid) dei token COLONY e in base al valore di mercato del token HIVE (0.232$) ho calcolato il valore in SWAP.HIVE e in dollari della ricompensa stagionale che ho ricevuto per aver giocato nella stagione 32.
Sommando le ricompense delle due leaderboards ho ricevuto una ricompensa stagionale totale di 19908 COLONY = 20.03 SWAP.HIVE = 4.64$
Non è stata la mia migliore stagione dal punto di vista delle ricompense ma stagione dopo stagione aumenta il totale delle ricompense che ho ricevuto giocando su Moon Karts a partire dalla stagione 13: 340668 COLONY = 342.78 SWAP.HIVE = 79.52$
Grazie alle ricompense che ho guadagnato giocando nella stagione 32 (leaderboards + corse) e grazie ai token COLONY che ho guadagnato dall'airdrop giornaliero come SPS stakeholder e GLX stakeholder oggi ho potuto aggiungere +21240.36 COLONY al mio stake.
Oggi ho messo in staking tutti i miei COLONY liquidi
Adesso ho 447692.82 COLONY staked.
Mi mancano poco più di 40K COLONY staked per raggiungere il multiplier 20x per quando, durante le stagioni, raggiungo 2000 rating points.
Per quanto riguarda il mio obiettivo di accumulo dei COLONY staked ho completato l'89.54% del obiettivo.
Nella stagione in corso cercherò:
- di giocare almeno 150 corse
- superare 2000 punti di rating
- arrivare almeno nella top 10 delle due leaderboards stagionali
