April's support from @valueplan bore very good fruit. We were able to reach new people. New ideas and opportunities emerged. In this situation, we set goals with @mynewlife for May and asked for 2550 HBD.
All the transfers can be traced on the @krolestwo.fund account. The distribution of funds is as follows:
- expansion of the Museum of Sloppy Work and Thievery and organisation of Museum Night (1200 HBD)
- rent (650 HBD)
- support for promotional activities (500 HBD)
- creation of a page for setting up a Hive account in the Kingdom (100 HBD)
- firing of ceramic works (100 HBD)
Museum
The Museum of Sloppy Work and Thievery (like many things in the Kingdom) was spontaneously created in 2021. It is housed in a toilet, so it is probably the smallest museum in Krakow. At first it was just a joke. Over time, however, we began to see the very great potential of the idea.
The topic is very broad and you can cover a lot of ground with it. For example, Justin Sun is perfect for it.
The topic is emotive, because many people are annoyed by a bad job.
The topic is engaging because, in theory, everyone can share examples that they themselves have dealt with.
The topic, combined with the museum format, sounds a bit like Monty Python and has a predisposition to become viral.
Taking this into account, we decided to:
To expand the museum. Describe on the @muzeum account everything that is already there. Add new exhibits and also describe them. Add QR codes to the entries so that everyone can find out what is in the museum.
Create a Facebook page and profile on X to promote the museum through monthly celebrity meet-ups. Celebrities are invited to X, and we do an event on Facebook saying ‘we invited someone [e.g. Elon Musk] to a meeting’. This is always true, because we invited.
Hang empty frames in the museum and use the Facebook page to engage people. Everyone can propose an exhibit.
Prepare better than in previous years for Museum Night. This is a regular event where people visit different museums throughout the evening. In 2022, we unexpectedly had almost 200 visitors.
Organise workshops to paint copies of paintings stolen during World War II and advertise them during Museum Night.
Most of this plan has been successful. With the support of Value Plan, we bought frames, materials for the workshops and Zimbabwean banknotes ($1 billion and $10 billion denominations), which we are using as rewards. Most importantly, however, we bought time and a lot of work was done that had not been done before. A lot of new exhibits have been added to the museum (including Justin Sun). You can see the current state in 360 degrees here. Of course, this is not the end of the work and there is still a lot to add. Especially as the concept is to involve people in building the museum. A promotional video is also in the pipeline. It is being worked on by @mynewlife.
Unfortunately, Museum Night failed to break last year's attendance record. We assumed that the website that announced Museum Night in the Kingdom in 2022 and 2023 would also do so this year. We were wrong. So we could only rely on Facebook promotion. As a result, 30 people came, half of them newcomers. Not a bad result, but we were hoping for 10 times more. I would add that one person who came to the Museum Night now frequents the Kingdom and has set up a Hive account. In previous years this did not happen. So there is a small success.
One of the activities linked to the Museum was a workshop during which we painted copies of paintings stolen from Poland during the Second World War. With funds from Value Plan, we bought materials. The painted pictures were hung in the Museum. The workshop was very much enjoyed by the participants, so it will continue. The next one is planned for mid-June.
Rent
In principle, anyone can hold an open event in the Kingdom free of charge. Some groups wanting to help support the venue rent it out for their events, even though it is open. This is how Thursdays (@czwartek), for example, operates. The rental rate is set out in the official list of rewards for support - 10 HBD per hour. This is how all ‘powered by Hive’ events were billed. And where did the funds go? They went into the Kingdom Development Fund.
A total of 13 events were held in the Kingdom in May, 10 of which were ‘powered by Hive’. To this must be added Polish lessons for Ukrainian refugees. A total of 67 hours.

The Bitcoin Pizza Day was an exceptionally successful event. We organised it spontaneously and to our surprise a lot of new people came. During the event, we spent 80 HBD left over from last month's Spend HBD campaign.
Promotion
The Kingdom's main problem is promotion. Up to now, it has mainly been done through the word-of-mouth. However, this is a very slow process. Therefore, having the support of Value Plan, we started to look for other ways. In April, we tested Facebook ads. We wanted to find out how effective they are. However, we knew from the start that this was not the path we wanted to go down. Paying a corporation to display our posts? Absurd! However, it was good to collect data so that we had something to compare with.
In May, we tested our own system using Facebook. The way it works is that we give points for each reaction (like/comment). Every 10 points can be exchanged for 1 RCRT token. We have been using Hive Engine RCRT tokens to reward people for their help since 2021. With RCRT you can rent space from us or get drinks, ceramics figurines, T-shirts, CDs and other things. The promotion system is designed to create more traffic under posts, using Facebook's algorithms, but instead of paying a big corporation, rewarding users for their activity. Does it work? Yes. Likes and comments make our posts appear to more people. Here are some statistics.

If we look only at reach, paid advertisements seem unrivalled. The problem is that they are often detached from reality. In theory, thanks to ads, our post appears to many people, but in practice the effectiveness is very low. In the case of the Kingdom, effectiveness is measured in the number of new visitors. And here the results of April and May are very similar.
Of course, a month is still not enough to fully evaluate the effectiveness of our system, but there are many indications that it is better than buying adverts. We will continue to reward people who respond to our posts in the coming months. However, it is already worth considering whether to introduce a similar gamification system regarding the promotion of Hive on Facebook....
The second element of the promotion was a contest for a report (published on Hive) of an event in the Kingdom. Seven appeared and voting is currently underway. The report contest is combined with a second contest for the best work created during a ceramics workshop. In both, participants can win RCRT tokens.
In addition to the RCRT tokens, there are also 200 HBD in the prize pool in May. 100 HBD will be given to the winner of the Facebook support ranking. 100 HBD will go to the winner of the coverage competition. There were supposed to be more prizes in the HBD, but we concluded that it is better to give to RCRT and with the remaining 300 HBD to buy drinks from different parts of the world as prizes and use this to promote the venue. There are now 30 different cold drinks in the Kingdom from Poland, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Italy, Germany, UK, USA, Brazil and Mexico. Now the motivation to help promote the Kingdom on Facebook will be even greater. In addition to cold drinks, we have also bought tea and added @valueplan as a sponsor of the ‘suspended tea’. We will report on the effects of these activities in our next report.
Onboarding website
The 100 HBD in the budget was earmarked for a website for setting up new accounts. The page can be seen here. It describes why being a Kingdom regular is worth having a Hive account. There are also three videos explaining how to create an account, how to log in and how to publish your first post. Step by step. The site has significantly streamlined the process of setting up accounts. Now nothing needs to be explained, just send a link.
Firing of ceramic works
100 HBD is set aside to cover the cost of firing the works. There are not enough for now, but after the July workshop it is likely to be done.
Summary
May was, above all, a month of very intensive work on the Museum of Sloppy Work and Thievery and the testing of our Facebook promotion support system. The results of this work are promising. Both projects will continue in the coming months.
In June, the priority should be to prepare the anniversary event as well as possible (scheduled for 29 June, the Kingdom will be nine years old!) and to start work on the Zbigniew Herbert poetry escape room as soon as possible. This year marks the 100th anniversary of his birth. So this is the best time to create something like this. We created a similar room in Rzeszów in 2017. It was very popular. Unfortunately, after moving to Krakow, we found that it could not be recreated in the new location and had to create it anew. This involves a lot of work, but opens up opportunities to integrate the game into Hive.

Kwietniowe wsparcie od @valueplan przyniosło bardzo dobre owoce. Udało nam się trafić do nowych osób. Pojawiły się nowe pomysły i możliwości. W tej sytuacji wytyczyliśmy z @mynewlife cele na maj i poprosiliśmy o 2550 HBD.

Muzeum
Muzeum Fuszerki i Złodziejstwa (jak wiele rzeczy w Królestwie) powstało spontanicznie w 2021 roku. Mieści się w toalecie, więc prawdopodobnie jest to najmniejsze muzeum w Krakowie. Początkowo był to tylko żart. Z czasem jednak zaczęliśmy dostrzegać bardzo duży potencjał tego pomysłu.
Temat jest bardzo szeroki można dzięki niemu poruszyć wiele wątków. Np. idealnie nadaje się do niego Justin Sun.
Temat jest emocjonujący, bo wiele osób irytuje źle wykonana praca.
Temat jest angażujący, bo teoretycznie każdy może podzielić się przykładami, z którymi sam miał do czynienia.
Temat w połączeniu z formą muzeum brzmi trochę jak Monty Python i ma predyspozycje by stać się viralem.
Biorąc to pod uwagę postanowiliśmy:
Rozbudować muzeum. Opisać na koncie @muzeum wszystko to, co już w nim jest. Dodać nowe eksponaty i również je opisać. Dodać kody QR do wpisów, tak by każdy mógł dowiedzieć się co w muzeum jest.
Stworzyć stronę na Facebooku i profil na X, aby promować muzeum poprzez comiesięczne spotkania z celebrytami. Celebrytów zapraszamy na X, a na Facebooku robimy wydarzenie, w którym informujemy, że "zaprosiliśmy kogoś [np. Elona Muska] na spotkanie". Zawsze jest to prawdą. Bo zaprosiliśmy.
Powiesić w muzeum puste ramki i wykorzystać stronę na Facebooku do zaangażowania ludzi. Każdy może zaproponować swój eksponat.
Przygotować się lepiej niż w poprzednich latach do Nocy Muzeów. Jest to cykliczna akcja podczas której ludzie przez cały wieczór zwiedzają różne muzea. W 2022 roku niespodziewanie odwiedziło nas prawie 200 osób.
Zorganizować warsztaty malowania kopii skradzionych podczas II wojny światowej obrazów i reklamować je podczas Nocy Muzeów.
Większą część tego planu udało się wykonać. Dzięki wsparciu Value Planu kupiliśmy ramki, materiały na warsztaty oraz banknoty z Zimbabwe (o nominale 1 miliard dolarów i 10 miliardów dolarów), które wykorzystujemy jako nagrody. Przede wszystkim jednak kupiliśmy czas i wykonana została duża praca, której do tej pory nie udało się zrobić. W muzeum pojawiło się sporo nowych eksponatów (w tym Justin Sun). Obecny stan można zobaczyć w 360 stopniach tutaj. Oczywiście to nie koniec prac i wciąż jest dużo do dodania. Zwłaszcza, że koncepcja zakłada zaangażowanie ludzi w budowaniu muzeum. W przygotowaniu jest również film promocyjny. Pracuje nad nim @mynewlife.
Niestety podczas Nocy Muzeów nie udało się pobić rekordu frekwencyjnego z ubiegłego roku. Zakładaliśmy, że strona internetowa, która w 2022 i 2023 podała informację o Nocy Muzeów w Królestwie, w tym roku również to zrobi. Myliliśmy się. Mogliśmy więc liczyć tylko na promocję na Facebooku. W efekcie przyszło 30 osób, z czego połowa nowych. Nie jest to zły wynik, ale liczyliśmy na 10 razy więcej. Dodam, że jedna osoba, która przyszła na Noc Muzeów teraz często bywa w Królestwie i założyła konto Hive. W poprzednich latach się to nie zdarzało. Jest więc jest mały sukces.
Jednym z działań związanych z Muzeum były warsztaty, podczas których malowaliśmy kopie obrazów skradzionych z Polski podczas II wojny światowej. Za środki z Value Planu kupiliśmy materiały. Namalowane obrazy zawisły w Muzeum. Warsztaty bardzo spodobały się uczestnikom, więc będą kontynuowane. Kolejne zaplanowane są w połowie czerwca.
Wynajem
Co do zasady każdy może nieodpłatnie zorganizować w Królestwie otwarte wydarzenie. Niektóre grupy chcąc pomóc w utrzymaniu miejsca wynajmują je pod swoje wydarzenia, pomimo, że są one otwarte. Tak działają na przykład Czwartki (@czwartek). Stawka za wynajem jest określona na oficjalnej liście nagród za wsparcie - 10 HBD za godzinę. W ten sposób rozliczane były wszystkie wydarzenia "powered by Hive". A gdzie trafiły te środki? Zasiliły one Fundusz Rozwojowy Królestwa.
Łącznie maju w Królestwie odbyło się 13 wydarzeń, z czego 10 było "powered by Hive". Do tego należy doliczyć lekcje polskiego dla ukraińskich uchodźców. W sumie 67 godzin.

Wyjątkowo udanym wydarzeniem był Bitcoin Pizza Day. Zorganizowaliśmy go spontanicznie i ku naszemu zdziwieniu pojawiło się sporo nowych osób. Podczas wydarzenia wydaliśmy 80 HBD, które pozostało z ubiegłego miesiąca z akcji Spend HBD.
Promocja
Głównym problemem Królestwa jest promocja. Do tej pory odbywała się ona głównie przez "pocztę pantoflową". Jest to jednak bardzo powolny proces. Dlatego mając wsparcie Value Planu zaczęliśmy szukać innych dróg. W kwietniu testowaliśmy reklamy na Facebooku. Chcieliśmy poznać ich skuteczność. Od początku jednak wiedzieliśmy, że nie jest do droga, którą chcemy iść. Płacić korporacji, aby wyświetlała nasze posty? Absurd! Dobrze było jednak zebrać dane, aby mieć z czym porównywać.
W maju testowaliśmy własny system wykorzystujący Facebooka. Działa on tak, że za każdą reakcję (lajk/komentarz) dajemy punkty. Każde 10 punktów można wymienić na 1 token RCRT. Tokenów RCRT używamy do wynagradzania ludzi za ich pomoc od 2021 roku. Za RCRT można u nas wynająć przestrzeń lub dostać napoje, figurki, koszulki, płyty CD i inne rzeczy. System promocji jest tak pomyślany by stworzyć większy ruch pod postami, wykorzystać algorytmy Facebooka, ale zamiast płacić dużej korporacji, wynagradzać użytkowników za ich aktywność. Czy to działa? Tak. Lajki i komentarze powodują, że nasze wpisy pojawiają się większej liczbie osób. Poniżej trochę statystyk.

Jeśli spojrzymy tylko na zasięg, to płatne reklamy wydają się bezkonkurencyjne. Problem w tym, że często oderwane są one od rzeczywistości. Teoretycznie dzięki reklamom nasz post pojawia się wielu osobom, ale w praktyce skuteczność jest bardzo mała. W przypadku Królestwa skuteczność mierzy się w liczbie nowych gości. A tutaj rezultaty kwietnia i maja są bardzo podobne.
Oczywiście miesiąc to wciąż za mało, aby w pełni ocenić efektywność naszego systemu, wiele jednak wskazuje, że jest on lepszy od kupowania reklam. W kolejnych miesiącach będziemy kontynuowali wynagradzanie osób reagujących na nasze wpisy. Warto jednak już teraz zastanowić się, czy nie wprowadzić podobnego systemu grywalizacji odnośnie promowania Hive na Facebooku...
Drugim elementem promocji był konkurs na relację (opublikowaną na Hive) z jakiegoś wydarzenia w Królestwie. Pojawiło się 7. Obecnie trwa głosowanie. Konkurs na relację połączony jest z drugim konkursem na najlepszą pracę stworzoną podczas warsztatów ceramicznych. W obu można wygrać tokeny RCRT.
Oprócz tokenów RCRT w maju w puli nagród jest również 200 HBD. 100 HBD otrzymał zwycięzca rankingu wsparcia na Facebooku. 100 HBD otrzyma zwycięzca konkursu na relację. Nagród w HBD miało być więcej, ale doszliśmy do wniosku, że lepiej jest dać RCRT, a za pozostałe 300 HBD kupić napoje z różnych stron świata i wykorzystać ten fakt do promocji miejsca. Obecnie w Królestwie jest 30 różnych zimnych napojów z Polski, Czech, Litwy, Łotwy, Włoch, Niemiec, Wielkiej Brytanii, USA, Brazylii i Meksyku. Teraz motywacja, by pomagać w promocji Królestwa na Facebooku będzie jeszcze większa. Oprócz zimnych napojów kupiliśmy również herbatę i dodaliśmy @valueplan jako sponsora "zawieszonej herbaty". O efektach tych działań poinformujemy w kolejnym raporcie.
Strona do onboardingu
100 HBD w budżecie przeznaczone było na stronę do zakładania nowych kont. Stronę można zobaczyć tutaj. Jest na niej opisane dlaczego będąc bywalcem Królestwa warto mieć konto Hive. Są na niej również trzy filmy wyjaśniające jak założyć konto, jak się zalogować i jak opublikować pierwszy post. Strona ta znacząco usprawniła proces zakładania kont. Teraz nic nie trzeba tłumaczyć, wystarczy przesłać link.
Wypał prac ceramicznych
100 HBD odłożone jest na pokrycie kosztu wypału prac. Na razie jest ich za mało, ale po lipcowych warsztatach prawdopodobnie będzie można to zrobić.
Podsumowanie
Maj był przede wszystkim miesiącem bardzo intensywnej pracy nad Muzeum Fuszerki i Złodziejstwa oraz testowania naszego systemu wsparcia promocji na Facebooku. Efekty tej pracy są obiecujące. Oba projekty będą kontynuowane w najbliższych miesiącach.
W czerwcu priorytetem powinno być jak najlepsze przygotowanie imprezy rocznicowej (zaplanowana jest na 29 czerwca) oraz jak najszybsze rozpoczęcie prac nad pokojem zagadek z poezją Zbigniewa Herberta. W tym roku mija 100. rocznica jego urodzin. Jest to więc najlepszy moment na stworzenie czegoś takiego. Podobny pokój stworzyliśmy w Rzeszowie w 2017 roku. Cieszył się bardzo dużą popularnością. Niestety po przeprowadzce do Krakowa okazało się, że nie da się go odtworzyć w nowym miejscu i trzeba go stworzyć na nowo. Wiąże się to z ogromem pracy, ale otwiera szanse zintegrowania gry z Hive.
