Hi all! Welcome to my running blog on my journey towards the NN Marathon Rotterdam 2025, which will be here in 2 weeks!
While I am in my resting and recovery weeks of my training program, there is still room for fun paced runs! These weeks (taper weeks) focus on maintaining the same trainings intensity but just shorter distances. After last weeks total of 100 km , a bit shorter distances is welcome! But I am still feeling strong so I am balancing rest with a last push in my training to get the result I want!
Today’s run was a tempo run - where I did 1 km warming up (at general pace) after which I did a 9km tempo run.
Originally my run was supposed to be a 6 km recovery pace. With some 100 meter strides Within the run. But I felt like doing a little more than that. The weather is beautiful and my daughter had 1 hour dancing class - so with a little pace I could fit a nice training in that time.

I am in the proces of ordering my own hive run racing shirt! “Proces” because I am a technical noob haha - so I was not able to do edit the template myself. But luckely I got the offer to get some help! @danielvehe thank you!
If all goes well! I will proudly wear the shirt during this and my future marathons and hopefully we draw some eyes on our awesome community!
