Hello Hivers ✌✌
So, today we are going to calibrate our pH meter. Why this is necessary is because water pH is one of the most important factors is fish hatching.
When there are bigger it might not play a very important role but at this stage it does.
At this hatching stage the water pH will determine the survivability of your Fingerlings so it is very a important factor we can't joke with.
Calibrating the pH meter gives us an accurate reading on the pH value of our water.
The steps involved in calibrating our pH meter is quite easy.
The pH meter comes with some solvent that we will use in calibrating.
The solvent will be dissolved in separate 250ml of water..
So for this process we will need 3 separate cup of water containing 250ml of water then the forth will be distilled water to clean the props before inserting it in another solution.
First step.
Put 250ml of water into 3 separate cup or container
Second Step..
Pour in the solvent into the separate cups and note each one..
The third step;
is to stirs very well so the solvent will dissolve properly in the water..
The fourth step.
On the pH meter and insert it into the cup with the solution then when the reading on the meter shows that of the solvent been added, press and hold the 'Cal' button for 5 seconds the value will blink on the meter and you remove it and off the meter then rinse it in distilled water before doing it in other solutions..
So with that, we have successfully calibrated our pH meter that we used to test the pH of our water for our Fingerlings Hatching

I want to send a BIG shout out to @felixx for your upvotes, it really encourages me..
Thanks.!!
