Today that is already Wednesday, I want to make a little update about the "Just Write" contest. For those of you who don't know about the contest here is the link to the post that started it all so you can learn more about it.
But, to summarize, it is a contest to try to give an initial boost to new users of the POB community and in which, to participate, you only need to do what we normally do here, just write. To select the users that will enter the contest I will look for posts that have been written directly from the POB interface and in addition, the authors must meet the requirement of having less than 400 POB Power. The results of who the three winners are will be given on Monday, May 17, 2021.
And today's update has to do with the participants I have chosen so far. My idea is to share the posts of the new authors in the community that I find before the time is up to vote on the posts. This way the community also has the chance to get to know the authors, judge their works and give them some love by voting if they think they deserve it.
So as not to delay things any longer, the list of participants so far of the authors who meet all the requirements to enter the contest is this:

- The value of life ... And what it represents in us! by @profeyris7 - A spiritual view on the value of life and what it represents to us.
- The platform should hond on to the creator - Not the opposite ! by @clixmoney - Gives us his view on the relationship between the content creator and the platform. Let him know if you agree with him or not.
- MAYBE LOVE IS THE ANSWER... by @nonsowrites - He shows us, with an example from his private life that maybe love is the answer we need. What do you think about it?

- POB Word of the Week: Power (Brothers) by @aiuna - This meaning of Power touched my heart. This post is also part of @calumam's "POB Word of the Week : Power #005" contest.
As you can see, there are 11 contestants so far.
I must say that starting this contest has been like starting a journey of discovery. Discovering new authors and also more veteran authors in the community that I didn't know. As you can imagine I have found many more interesting authors than the ones on the list but because of the conditions imposed to participate in the contest they have been left out of it, but not from my list of people I follow 🙂
To end the post I want to invite the community again to stop by and read the posts and visit the authors' profiles to have your own opinion about them. It is up to you to decide if you vote on the posts or not and if you want to follow the author or not. But this invitation is one of the reason for this contest.

Hoy que es ya miércoles, quiero hacer una pequeña actualización sobre el concurso "Solo escribe". Para los que no sepan sobre el concurso aquí les dejo el enlace al post con el que se inició todo para que así conozcan más sobre el mismo.
Pero, haciendo una síntesis, es un concurso para tratar de dar un impulso inicial a los nuevos usuarios de la comunidad de POB y en el cual, para participar, solo se necesita hacer lo que ya hacemos normalmente aquí, escribir. Para seleccionar a los usuarios que entraran a concursar buscaré entre los posts que se hayan escrito directamente desde la interface de POB y además, los autores deben cumplir con el requisito de tener menos de 400 POB Power. Los resultados de quienes son los tres ganadores se darán el lunes 17 de Mayo del 2021.
Y la actualización de hoy tiene que ver con los participantes que he escogido hasta ahora. Mi idea es compartir los post de los nuevos autores en la comunidad que vaya encontrando antes de que termine el tiempo de poder votar los posts por los que los encontré en primer lugar. Así la comunidad también tiene la posibilidad de conocer a los autores, juzgar sus obras y darle un poco de cariño a través del voto si cree que se lo merecen.

Debo decir que el haber iniciado este concurso ha sido como iniciar un viaje de descubrimientos. Descubrir nuevos autores y también autores ya más veteranos en la comunidad que no conocía. Como imaginaran he encontrado muchos más autores interesantes de los que están en la lista pero por las condiciones impuestas para participar en el concurso se han quedado fuera, no así de mi lista de personas a las que sigo. 🙂
Para terminar quiero invitar a la comunidad nuevamente a que pase a leer los posts y a que visite el perfil de los autores para que tengan su propia opinión sobre los mismos. En ustedes está el decidir si votan los posts o no y si quieren seguir al autor o no. Es a libre elección pero es parte del motivo por el que se hace este concurso.
