The architecture of the place is truly amazing, from the sculptures of women holding up a balcony to the decorations on the bench, not to mention those small but charming squares. And I don't want to leave out the beautiful Gothic cathedral you visited, with its stained glass windows telling stories and coats of arms like banners. It's very impressive.
But what's most impressive is what you've told us about the story of Joan of Arc. I knew something about her, but not that much. She was a symbol of courage and strength for what she believed in and the signs she saw. To die the way she did is terrible, but that's how things were judged at the time, and there was a lot of injustice. She was only 19 years old. A heroine. Thank you so much for this wonderful tour. It's been spectacular.

Exactly that was on my mind, but in a different "approach"... When you do something over and over again, you start to do it without even thinking... While I was on vacation and got sick, I was thinking about what I am doing. And why do I always get sick when I'm on vacation?
I realized that in those days, I was not living MY LIFE, but rather the life that others are pushing on to me... Running from one family member to another, from one place to another, from one bar to another... I had 0 control over my life in those days... I was doing what was EXPECTED of me to do... That's not a choice...
I know it sounds like a different thing from yours, but they are pretty similar... Freedom of/is choice!

It is a very intense piece of writing, but it is still very beautiful and even sublime, depending on each person's perception. Congratulations, Ylich. Every time I visit you on Hive, I feel like I'm breathing art. I know it's irrelevant, but I just saw your post about the southern cemetery and I loved it. It's definitely the push I needed to want to visit it. I don't know how strange it is to want to go, but there's something captivating about it.

What a nice way to spend time with the family, surrounded by nature and exploring the environment. Fishing always seemed boring to me, I don't have the patience to wait for the fish to bite, hahaha, I admire you for that. You had good rewards, what a catch you got! Your catfish looks a lot like some fish in my area called catfish, they are just as ugly but much bigger. Speaking of big things, I've never had a snail as big as that one in my hand, it's spectacular.

We can all have moments of emptiness or sadness, perhaps due to certain circumstances or because we need to be reborn afterwards, like your paintings. I'm glad you're back, showing the world your talent and this fantastic journey.
I always wonder if you paint first without any idea, letting inspiration guide you, or if you have a clear idea and then capture it. In this case, I really see a universal journey between different entities and planets full of colour and brightness, where the sun is the creator of physical realities, but you mention Venus, and it has always been said that it is love. Love cannot be seen, it can only be felt, so we have physical realities and love as something powerful.
Your painting allows one to lose oneself in the world of dreams and fantasy. Very good work!
