Whenever people do not have the things that they either need or want, the easiest way of acquiring this things is to buy them. Plain and simple, we just need to exchange the items that we want for money and with the advancement of technology, we do not even need to get out of our house because the items we purchased can now be delivered right through our homes which was really convenient as it saves time and energy. Today, I'm gonna tell about my Happiest and Worst purchase and the things that I have learned with this experience.
My Happiest Purchase:
When I think about my happiest purchase, I would say that it was the Toshiba Laptop that I bought way back to 2014. It was only second hand item that I purchased on an Electronics Pawnshop for around $ 70.00 USD and if I were to compare it with the current laptop that I am using, I would say that my present Laptop was 10x better in all aspects performance wise but why I say that my old Laptop was my happiest purchase is that it was the very first thing I buy with my own money. Not money that I get from my parents but money that comes from the fruits of my labor so even when it already stops functioning in 2019, I still have kept it with me until now for its sentimental value alone.

Actually, this Laptop can still be fixed based on the technician that I consulted to but since this was old product, the parts that was needed to bring it back to life has been long ceased production, making it difficult to procure but I was hoping that it can be brought into working condition someday but in the meanwhile, I have its storage drive as an external HDD which I use to store Computer programs and applications which I used wherever I reformat my computer so at some sense, the first item that I bought was still serving me for now almost a decade.

My Most Disappointing Purchase:
When thinking about my worst purchase the first thing that comes to mind was the mystery box that I bought online which I wrote on this post given that I payed more for the value of the items inside but I was wrong. Upon digging to my previous purchase history, I found the most useless thing I ever purchase by buying VR Box for mobile device which becomes popular a VR was introduced and we thought that it was the future. At the very least, the items on the Mystery box have some use, the VR box doesn't.
During that time, I have purchased it together with other items in order for me to use a discount voucher but individually, I bought it for 278.07 PHP or around $5.00 USD. Calling it useless was an understatement. In order to fit my phone in it, I need to remove the case of my phone but even when the case removed, its still very thigh and resulted for the tempered glass screen protector of my phone to be damaged and my phone to have scratches. When it comes to the lens, it was very blurry so it did not even take me 5 minutes of wearing it to feel dizzy. This thing was thrash and as what thrash should be, I immediately dispose of this item that only brings damage to my phone and that is maybe why I forget about this purchase until today as I want to forget the naïve me that spend money for a thrash.
Lessons Learnt:
The joy that it comes with spending my own money for the things that you need the first time. Regardless of the price of the product, the fact that it is an item that I buy with my own money gives me a sense of satisfaction and a physical proof that my hard work pays.
Do not be swayed by popularity when purchasing a product. Back then, I purchase the VR Box because of its popularity and never look on the reviews. If I just look on it, I would see all the bad reviews about the product which may help me to prevent wasting my money.
That was it for this post Thank you for reading my post and see you at the next one.
