I know many of you might think this post would be about my experience blogging from the day I joined Hive to this present moment but let me tell you, this time it is different. If you want to know about my experience from the day I joined Hive, I have written different blogs for that are you can read them here:
This time, I would talk about how I derive inspiration to write. Nowadays, it is not easy for me to write due to many activities I am doing on the chain. I mentor a lot of newbies on chain and those who I have physically brought on Hive which is over a 100 newbies, with roughly over 60 active; trying to curate their contents and engage on some. At the same time, I am constantly bringing new people to hive, helping them with introductory posts and the other mentoring process continues until they can navigate themselves.
Moreover, I have my personal lives which I am involved in, I am taking a physical class in Automation Engineering While at the same time taking an online course in Clouds/DevOps Engineering. I am doing these two at the same time trying to balance studying both courses.
With all these on my table, it is quite tough to think straight on what content to make. Making a blog everyday would not give me time to do all I do at the moment that is why I limit myself to 3-4 days of the week to publish my content.
With that, it is still tough when it comes to video creation, I mean my guitar videos because that alone specifically needs time and hours spent in scoring the music before we think of the trouble involved in making mistakes and errors while making videos and starting again.
I must say I am not really a active commenter on Hive as I used to, and it is understandable, I cannot be online on Hive as I used to with what is on my table though I spend those free days when I don't blog to go around leaving a comment on posts and articles.
Last week, I broke down; I fell sick due to the stress I had been putting myself in. I had been sleeping late and waking up very early. For example; Today, I slept 3:30am after finished writing a contest post for Cross Culture Community and I woke up again by 6am, to go through Hive, and do some curation before thinking of settling my mind towards creating this content.
Yesterday, I was awake still pass 3am also, because I was busy going through videos from my online class on Cloud Engineering before waking up 7am to prepare for my physical Class in Automation Engineering which starts by 10am in the morning. I was dozing in the class but no one could relate why, or could understand why I doze in almost every class.
We can say, I roughly sleep 3-4 hours daily if I have a busy day and let me not talk about my weekends; they are the most busiest of all as a Church Musician.
Also you should know that it is rare to see me doing one thing at a time, I am always multi-tasking. For example as I am writing this post, I am busy over WhatsApp guiding a new person who just created her account on how to create her Intro Post.
HOW I DERIVE INSPIRATION TO BLOG
There is one thing I need to make sure when I want to write a blog, which is to make sure I am with a full belly or have a soft drink beside me while I write to feed my brain the sugar it needs to work actively.
Because of this, I am best active writing post when I am in a restaurant. As I write, I keep my belly filled by buying food anytime I feel any sign of hunger. Also to keep my mouth in activity either eating or drinking. I have pictures to share when I was writing this post made in the @newbies-hive account.

Even when I study, It is always fun studying while having something that makes my mouth run. What I read enters faster than any other method. This works for me and you should feel free to try this most especially when you want to dedicate a day to engage with other authors and not post.
You would see the fun in commenting with other users while taking a sip of 5Alive for instance or maybe coke, or eating a delicious meal. Inspirations for articles would be following through your mind while you engage with other authors because we would be able to relate to what ever they say and have your points to share as well both in comment section and making a post.
