The importance of traffic to LeoFinance and Hive has always been crucial for growth and success in the long haul, but traffic has recently become more important than ever before.
The very first thing you'll hear from any savvy online marketer is that you need a lot of traffic to make your site work. You will hear stories about how they increased their site or page traffic, and how they can help you with yours. You can easily find hundreds or thousands of different pages that will tell you why- and how to effectively use SEO, make outreach strategies, bring in new audience and how to rank high in Google so you can get more traffic. This has become a trend on LeoFinance and Hive recently as well.
I have personally produced four posts recently that dives into this subject, with this post being the fifth and you have likely seen many other authors talking about traffic, optimization, Ad Revenue and such as well. Most of that is the result of the newly introduced change in the Ad Revenue of LeoFinance, but it also comes from things like the engagement league and that you can earn an extra 100 LEO if you beat @khaleelkazi in the rankings this week.
- This is how you spark interest and how you build hype.
The posts I have recently published:
- LeoFinance & Hive Growth With Optimized Content
- Would You Edit And Make Changes To Your OLD Content If...
- Going Back In Time To Stay Fresh For Search Engines!
- Organic Traffic Takes Time - Continue To Build To Improve and Strengthen The Rankings.
The posts I have made is literally filled with nifty ideas, creative thinking and awesome tips and knowledge being shared by multiple experienced content creators. You can rather easily find many other awesome posts that is filled with superb information as well. We are talking about outward facing, evergreen content and what it takes to boost organic traffic over time.
While we obviously want- and need content in all its forms, covering hundreds of different subjects and topics, we need outward facing content because that is needed in terms of growth. Inward facing content, or in other words, personal stories and content for your existing audience (much like this very post), is not as important in terms of growth.
One could say that outward facing content is what will bring in new traffic, while inward facing content is used to keep the existing traffic. Both is obviously important and plays an equal role for growth.
Now that I have talked about the importance of traffic, mentioned the difference between the two types of content and the importance of having both, I will give you some ideas of how to boost traffic to LeoFinance and Hive.

How To Boost Website Traffic
I would obviously recommend people to read my previous posts, which I linked to above, as they are filled with great information. However they where more focused on optimization and organic traffic.
There are literally dozens of different ways to boost website traffic and whenever you search after some valuable information you are likely find something like this:
Advertising, social media, high quality content, SEO, target long-tail keywords and guest blogging.
While these things are true, we have to operate slightly different on a place like LeoFinance and Hive. We aren't running things in the same way as we would if we had our own website. I doubt that anyone would pay to advertise their own content for instance.
However, that doesn't mean that we should ignore these things. In fact, it's the opposite. We should focus on doing all of these things, but with a twist, because we will all benefit by doing it.
Advertising for instance, doesn't necessarily have to mean that you are paying to push traffic towards your content. You can just as easily advertise and promote your content on social media using your Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok and/or Instagram accounts.
That being said, if you are making a tweet about how LeoFinance suddenly changed design or that the user experience was great, you are not likely to attract people from the outside. Regardless of how many followers you have or how many retweets you get. People who are not familiar with LeoFinance wouldn't find that interesting or intriguing at all.
You need to get their attention in a different way. How you do that is obviously a matter of trial and errors. A much better idea would be, if you made a tweet about the recent Ad Revenue change LeoFinance has done, that people now can earn passive income for just holding a token.
While that leaves room for more explanation, as you would have to fill in the blanks later on (when they visit the post), it's a rather decent attention-grabber that is likely to generate clicks (visits) from people who are looking to earn an extra- or passive income. Especially if they are already into crypto.

If you do what I suggested or something similar, you will have covered many different things from what I stated above. You will cover "advertising", "social media" and "high quality content" in one go, which is pretty fantastic.
However, if you optimize the content before you tweet about it, you will also cover the "SEO" aspect of what I mentioned above, which is likely to boost traffic over time. Now, that wouldn't work well with a tweet about LeoFinance making changes to the design, but it could defintiely work for the recent Ad Revenue change, if done properly.
How about something like: "Earn Passive Income For Life - Hold LEO". There are many different variations of that you can do, and by doing that you have suddenly covered the "long-tail keyword" as I mentioned above as well.
- Pretty cool if you ask me.

We Want Traffic
You have probably heard people talk about engagement and how vital it is for growth. You might wonder why your input, feedback or whatever comment you come up with would matter in terms of growth and the answer is simple: To Look, Feel And Be Active And Attractive For People Outside Our Bubble.
It doesn't matter if we are 100 active users, 1000 or 10,000 people. We are still living in a small bubble. We know the potential, but people outside are clueless. Most of them doesn't know that something like Hive or LeoFinance exist. Hell, many of the outsiders haven't even heard of Bitcoin yet(!)
People are used to Facebook and the likes of that. They are used to comment and like stuff. They don't want to read stories or content with zero engagement. We know that things like that happen on a daily basis on here, but it's unattractive and it looks bad in the eyes of outsiders.
With the recent Ad Revenue change on LeoFinance, everyone will earn because of traffic, so traffic should be a very high priority and something all of us are focused on. You know some of the things you can do to boost traffic, so just do it.
- Day one instead of one day.
