This past week, Pimp Your Post Thursday (PYPT) celebrated it’s sixth anniversary as a place for content creators to share their content and get to know other content creators. Most of the participants are sharing content from Hive but we also welcome content from other places.
When I first started on the legacy chain I put my daily reading of posts to work by selecting the posts I liked the most and publishing the list along with my comments why I liked them. I called it the “Steemit Ramble”. Eventually I opened a Discord server and not long after PYPT was born.
If someone had told me I’d be doing a voice show at all, let alone for six years, I’d have laughed at them. There’s something about this blockchain community that you find yourself trying new things. Meeting fellow creators via voice gave a new dimension to how we knew them.
I encourage people to share content from others, especially newbies which gives an opportunity to find promising content creators. PYPT has also been a place where some interesting conversations have taken place, connections have been made and friendships formed.

Pimp Your Post Thursday (PYPT) is a live content curation show happening every Thursday at 12pm Eastern in the DreemPort Discord.
Some great discussions take place during the shows. They give you an opportunity to ask questions and learn about what is happening.

Please visit the the posts and leave a comment. Upvotes are nice but you know engagement really matters. Letting people know you cared they created their content is great for morale and it builds community. Be a community builder.
How to Take Part
Everyone, no matter where you write, is welcome to take part on Thursdays at 12pm EST in the DreemPort discord server.
Don’t worry if you’ve never taken part in something like this. You’re welcome to just jump in and listen until you are comfortable. If you want to test it out, we’ll always help people to get started. It’s a friendly bunch.
