Hello Gods Unchained community!
I'm here today to, through this post, introduce myself to you talking a little bit more about my personal life, my relationship with games, with computer games.
And at the end, about crypto games and especially Gods Unchained.
Initially, making an introduction about me, my name is Ricardo, the guy on the picture above, I am 34 years old, I was born and live in a small town in Brazil, approximately 200 thousand inhabitants, I am a lawyer by profession since 2009, but addicted to games for love since long before that.
I am married since 2015 and I and my wife are expecting a son whose expected birth is for March/2022, we are really very happy since we tried for a long time to get pregnant, I honestly did not know it was so difficult to get pregnant, I've heard several stories of people who got pregnant fast, but this was not ours, even with all medical tests within the normality.
But now the trying phase is over and we are looking forward to the birth.
Also, to complete our family we have a little 5 year old shihtzu, let's see her picture:
Besides playing computer games in my spare time I have other hobbies that I like to practice to relax my mind from stressful days, and among these I can mention: cooking, I really enjoy making tasty dishes and testing new recipes, playing soccer, this for sure is a hobbie of many people, and besides that, practicing jiujitsu, which I have been doing since 1998.
My contact with games as such, not computer games, was through my father with whom, when I was younger, I played many hours of checkers with him almost every day at night, and I certainly have great memories of this incredible time.
My relationship with computer games started a long time ago, specifically around 1998.
In this epoch many classics were part of my daily life, such as: Warcraft, Quake, Diablo, Age of Empires, Civilization, Duke Nukem.
As a child my favorite games were Starcraft Brood War and Counter Strike since version 1.5.
As a teenager these were left aside and I started playing almost exclusively Ultima Online, the granddaddy of MMORPGs, for days and nights for a long time. Do any of you remember Ultima Online?
I honestly don't remember exactly how long I played Ultima Online, but I'm sure it was for a long time and on several servers... both RunUo and Sphere.
Currently I play only Dota 2, I am a little absent, and the classic Starcraft 2, which for me is one of the best games in history.
However, as everything in life evolves, lately I've been deciding more to Crypto Games, being Gods Unchained the second game that I've been deepening and dedicating myself more.
The first Crypto Games to which I dedicated myself in a more pronounced way was the famous Splinterlands.
I started in Splinterlands after the indication of my friend @polessins, which also indicated not only Splinterlands, but also the Hive and even the Gods Unchained, and there I am for about 4 months, was my first blockchain game and in reality my knowledge about this type of game was very small, having found some difficulties, obviously already overcome, to start in the game.
At first I found Gods Unchained really complex, not least because I had never played any other card dueling game like it. Those who have played other famous games will certainly find it easy, but this was not the case for me.
But with time and studying a little bit about the dynamics of the game I was getting clear on what to do and how to do it, obviously still suffering and catching a lot, but improving every day.
In the beginning I dedicated myself to the Nature deck, then I moved on to the light deck, with a combo using Planetar Centurion, which I have already talked about in another topic, but that makes the matches end up being too long, so I am working on new decks.
This is the light deck that I used in many of the last matches, reaching a good average of victories, but as I said above, doing long matches.
What I can say about Gods unchained is that I am literally addicted, I play I don't know how many games a day, test deck combinations, lose, win, but always have fun.
The game is very dynamic and not repetitive, I have recommended it to some friends to join this amazing community.
I still have many doubts about the game, especially about the forge that I still don't understand correctly the costs involved in its use, but I will look for some materials to learn.
