A few weeks ago, @acidyo texted me (DM) to see if I could attend the Spanish Meet Up event that was held this past weekend. In a way it was something that I should and could do. I feel that I am part of OCD, and that I know everything; besides I am Hispanic and the event would be in Spanish. However, no one, only I know what that can mean for me, as I told him, and as I told my friends and work team, it was a total honor.
So, I never thought of just coming in and saying everything that came to mind about OCD and that would be it. I knew deep down that I had to prepare very well, all my life I have done the things that give me pride with great seriousness and commitment. Thus, I took several technical ideas that I already had about OCD and with all the humility in the world I asked my team for help.
We met several nights, both on discord and on telegram, we are always active in different places, we are always working. Together we gathered the essential ideas and the right words that would deliver the message of what I believe everyone at OCD wanted to convey to everyone present at the event, and not only that, we did it for both OCD and Hive pets and our podcast in PAL "5 to 4", so it was several hours that we were together, we take everything very seriously, we have our moments when we play, but also moments where we have a certain respect for the things we do, because all this involves an entire community called “HIVE”.
In this sense, the same importance we give to OCD, we give it to each of the projects we have been able to build together. That is a key thought for us, all voices are important, because we are all part of this blockchain, no one should be underestimated, we believe that a small community, or user initiative is as important as a witness labor, because we don’t know the impact this can have on the Hive community. We do not underestimate the anyone’s work, we applaud and give certain admiration for the work that each of you do, content creators, curators, witness, holders, everyone.
So all those thoughts and feelings were captured in what we call "speeches", since we never escape our nerves and much less with something so important to us, we feel the same as an actor when he or she wins an Oscar, because that matters a lot to us.
Personally, for me, many times my nerves were affected. When that weekend rolled around, the day before my presentation, I was even more nervous about the number of people who had attended. I've had stage fright my whole life, and it's something I've worked to gradually improve on, so it's not easy for me, but it's not impossible either.
That Sunday afternoon I knew that I had to express what we had prepared for everyone present, we even had to express our joy for the fact that our Hive Pets community had reached 1000 subscribers in just over 100 days, it's incredible, we still can't believe it. That is why we quickly decided to give a surprise at the end of our speeches that day.
The time came ...
It was my turn to speak for all those who are part of the OCD community today, and @acidyo was there without knowing what I was going to say, only my work team and I knew. I Breathed, and I naturally began to talk about what people normally know about OCD and I started developing different ideas of what today has become a community and witness as powerful as OCD.
How OCD looked before
OCD was, and is a community of manual curation, in our terms there is no automatic voting, and therefore we are dedicate to curating excellent content but in addition to that we focus on new users seeing as a commitment to Hive, to let everyone know in a way that their content can also be valued like others, and it can also be felt like a warm welcome.
Of course, that was maybe the OCD from before, that voted for random posts, all of this before we had a community of our own, and after the its existence, we started voting within our community.
OCD now
It is not necessary to know the origin of this change in OCD, in what you can see now and perhaps not know because the ocean of Hive is immense, sometimes you can get lost, however, I think that today OCD is being noticed, it does very well every time we see those high votes on trends from almost every community and tag and all this has a reason.
We call it "incubation", but I will call it commitment. Those who still do not know, OCD curation has extended beyond the OG curation we had before (excuse me for saying many times, it is that I feel included in all this because I have witnessed and am behind the curtain of all this history along with them), we have now expanded to over 30 communities that have been adopted by OCD upvote.
Incubation and selection process
Incubation is born as a commitment to Hive, that's how I see it and I reflected it in my words in that speech. Here community leaders with certain niches apply on a channel that we have on Discord #comunnity-incubation. The key to having more opportunity to access this program is that you have a different niche than those that are already within the incubation, but in addition to that, you have more advantages if you have a considerable number of subscribers and active users, however, I believe that this is not entirely limiting, however it is what we must bear in mind when applying.
Once you enter the incubation program, they give you a role where you can see all the communities that are within OCD incubation. Especially, you will have a channel for you, where you can nominate the publications that according to your criteria as a leader, deserve to obtain added value from the OCD vote.
However, in OCD the diversification of votes is important, so we try to keep a record of the users who are recently voted, and that is a task that Discord facilitates us by accessing the history just by placing the user's name.
We, the community leaders, do not choose upvote percentage nominations will receive, however we can leave a small description or possible textual percentage next to the nomination which has been taken into account at the time of the upvotes. This is a joint effort, very well organized, where we also ensure that there is no type of abuse.
An indirect incubation
As I mentioned before, we are more than 30 communities that are in the OCD incubation program, however, we know that there are many more in Hive, I know that if we could do it, we would welcome all of them, especially those that are still growing.
Nonetheless, since OCD doesn't stop, we've taken an interest in those other communities, providing a channel for all incubation curators and community leaders to nominate content from other communities that are very interesting and important as well. This makes clear that OCD wants in some way or another to expand throughout HIVE.
In addition, I must say that at any time many communities within the incubation can graduate, since they have achieved significant growth and in a certain way stability, in this way, other small communities that also need and can enter the program could do so. We can all have our opportunity at some point. That is why we must make the most of all these tools that OCD gives us.
A movement called "Posh"
Another topic that I was able to address a little in the speech we prepared, and that I will take the time to explain a little more. If I could define posh, I would define it as “engagement commitment on Hive” and in a way, that's what this OCD project is all about.

Once you send the tweet, the posh bot will automatically make a comment with the tweet you just made, where everything you see in the image is reflected.
The important thing about the posh project is the interaction we make with our content, and with other people's tweets. In this way, we win “posh” tokens where 500 posh are distributed daily.
So, the more interaction and reactions we have, the more chances we have of winning “posh” tokens.
Many will wonder if this has a monetary value currently, and the answer is no, for now we are only accumulating tokens. You can see it on the page https://poshtoken.fbslo.net/users by entering your username. Now this does not mean that in the future this token would have no monetary value, surely very soon we will have the answer to it.
For now the important thing about this Posh movement is that with it we are achieving more interaction between users, even giving more visibility to both our content and Hive as a community platform so that everyone can see the potential that this Blockchain possesses.
You are not alone, OCD welcomes you
It is a bit bitter to have to remember that in my Steemit days, it was very difficult to get an upvote, and it was inevitable that we would feel bad.
Sometimes we even said "it's only a first post", I’m sure the other will have better rewards. But it was something we said to slightly overshadow how bad maybe we felt when we saw those upvotes and to have a certain expectation of what we could get with an introduction to the platform.
Well, OCD once again makes a difference from those times, because we also have the proposal that new users get a warm welcome and proof that if you decide to take this seriously, you can achieve a lot.
I had mentioned it in my speech, OCD is also very interested in new creators, we have channels on our servers where you can share your introduction or that of others. In the latter case, we like that the new ones are also received by other users, or by whoever has gotten their post and shared it with us, so a welcome greeting in a comment never hurts, remembering that Hive is not only a source of income and project opportunities, but it also has a human side.
Not only users can do it, but also OCD leaders and curators, we have an exclusive channel where we can also do this important task.
The future of OCD
No one can predict the future, neither can I, all I am is an OCD piece on a board with many other pieces and a leader who has known how to give us the guidance and tools to carry out all of this, place his trust in us, and believe in the work that each leader, curator, moderator and everyone who is part of the OCD team does.
However, OCD does not stop, we are growing more and more, and in the same process we are contributing more and more to Hive. To witness this is something magnificent, to be a Hispanic within an Anglo project like this is an HONOR, I would never miss this opportunity, and I don't believe I will feel disappointed or tired of working within this project.
I am sure that many things will come and everything with the main objective that OCD has "collective well-being in Hive, that involves all of us, Hispanics, Anglos and any other language speakers", In this way, we would have a more harmonious and united blockchain, where the differences are respected, where we all have an important role and are taken into account.

The influence of OCD and how it is connected to my work and commitment on Hive
For me as a person, it is very difficult not to feel influenced by a project like OCD, I even feel influenced by each community and project that I have been with. And I feel that my commitment to them and to Hive is to be a voice that gives the tools so that everyone has the same opportunities.
Starting with me, giving me the opportunity as a curator and leader of a community called "Hive pets" of which I am very proud. But it is a collective pride, because it is not just road stories, there are many people behind every move I make, every project and every development.
I have made this something very long, but I cannot miss the opportunity that I have along with all this, to introduce my friends and my work team.

Since August 2020 I have been in the Express yourself with 5 at 4 team, in which, like my colleagues, we curate thematic content. I have developed mainly in the health field as a dentist, but I have also grown in the fields of education, research, TEFL, and even blockchain. Also, I have collaborated with many community leaders and projects in bringing the right information to the Hispanic community by overcoming the language barrier for a technically spoken language blockchain content can have.
"Express yourself with 5 at 4" a podcast that connects the OCD project with the Hispanic community
When I met these guys, and their program, which at that time was "Express yourself with 4 at 4", I knew that this was a path that I had to take to fight my anxiety of being in an audience, and to have a means to be able to connect the Hispanic community with all the projects that OCD has.
By this I mean to give the tools and information in our language to all those who are interested in knowing, but in addition to that, help them with their content, improve every aspect of their publications and above all, motivate them to also immerse themselves in the Anglo world.
I have been in many podcasts and by that time I had not seen one that educates users as much as Express yourself with 4 at 4 did, which is now Express yourself with 5 at 4.
Now I can currently say, there is no other podcast where I have been as a listener where they talk about what is done in OCD, and the way in which a Hispanic can benefit as well, because in OCD we have no language limits, however, As an Anglo community, they require content to be in English, and flexibly English / native language.
The Hispanic community sees this as a challenge, mainly due to the poor translation that the use of google translator can represent. However, my team and I have been educating users all this time not only to improve their publications and guide them to the communities where they should share their content. We study the rules and requirements of each community within the OCD incubation, to have the answers at hand, and the tools that our Hispanic friends need.
In addition to that, our team has carried out a task of educating in the use of tools like the translator deepl.com and grammarly.com, reminding them that we must bear in mind that our native language must be written in the best and correct way possible, to make the task of translation easier for us with these two tools.

And I could stop and tell you all the anecdotes we have from content creators that have grown along with every initiative that we have on our show. But I'm sure they will come and tell all of you in the comments of this post, because they are witnesses to everything this great team does.
"Express yourself with 5 at 4" is an education program where different topics are discussed. Food, pets, literature, cinema and free themes. But these topics are also always connected with the communities that are part of the incubation project, in a way that we give tips to users on where to publish, tags to use and everything they need to get the most out of it.
Honestly, I cannot be prouder and happier of this team, because they are not only part of my life, but also of my growth in Hive, of my purposes within OCD and that in a certain way they also contribute to each OCD project being Reach out by our Hispanic community and outside of Hive.
It is incredible and an honor to always have them.
Hace unas semanas atrás @acidyo me escribió para ver si podía asistir al evento del meet up español que se celebró este fin de semana anterior. De cierto modo era algo que debía y podía hacer siento que soy parte de @OCD y que conozco todo, además de que soy Hispano y el evento seria en español. Sin embargo, nadie, solo yo y Dios sabemos lo que eso puede significar para mi, como se lo dije a él, y como se lo dije a mis amigos y equipo de trabajo, era un total honor.
Así que, en ningún momento pensé en solo llegar y decir todo lo que se me viniera a la cabeza sobre OCD y ya. Sabía en mi interior que debía prepararme muy bien, toda la vida he hecho las cosas que me dan orgullo con mucha seriedad y compromiso. Así que tomé varias ideas técnicas que ya tenía sobre OCD y con toda la humildad del mundo le pedí ayuda a mi equipo de trabajo.
Nos reunimos varias noches, tanto en discord, como en telegram, siempre estamos activos en diferentes sitios, siempre estamos trabajando. Entre todos reunimos las ideas esenciales y las palabras adecuadas que hicieran llegar el mensaje de lo que creo todos en OCD queríamos transmitirles a todos los presentes en el evento, y no solo eso, lo hicimos tanto para OCD como para Hive pets y nuestro podcast en PAL “5 para las 4”, por lo que fueron varias horas que estuvimos reunidos, todo lo tomamos muy en serio, tenemos nuestros momentos donde jugamos, pero también momentos donde tenemos un cierto respeto por las cosas que hacemos, pues todo esto involucra una comunidad entera que se llama “HIVE”.
En tal sentido, la misma importancia que le damos a OCD, se la damos a cada uno de los proyectos que hemos podido construir juntos. Ese es un pensamiento clave para nosotros, todas las voces tienen importancia, porque todos formamos parte de esta blockchain, nadie debería ser menospreciado, creemos que una comunidad pequeña, o iniciativa de algún usuario es tan importante como una labor de un witness, porque no sabemos el impacto que esto puede repercutir en la colectividad de Hive. No menospreciamos el trabajo de nadie, aplaudimos y aportamos cierta admiración por el trabajo que hacen cada uno de ustedes, creadores de contenido, curadores, witness, holders, todos.
Así que todos esos pensamientos y sentimientos fueron plasmados en lo que llamamos “discursos”, pues nunca escapamos de los nervios y mucho menos con algo tan importante para nosotros, sentimos lo mismo que un actor cuando gana un oscar, porque nos importa mucho eso.
Personalmente para mi, muchas veces me atacaron los nervios. Cuando llegó ese fin de semana, el día anterior a mi presentación estaba aún más nervioso por la cantidad de personas que habían asistido. Toda la vida he tenido miedo escénico, y es algo con lo que he trabajado para mejorar gradualmente, así que, no es fácil para mi, pero tampoco es imposible.
Ese domingo en la tarde sabia que tenia que expresar lo que habíamos preparado para todos los presentes, incluso, teníamos que expresar la alegría por el hecho de que nuestra comunidad de Hive pets había llegado a los 1000 suscriptores en tal solo un poco más de 100 días, es increíble, aun no lo podemos creer. Por eso decidimos rápidamente dar una sorpresa al final de nuestras intervenciones ese día.
Llegó la hora…
Era mi turno de hablar por todos los que hoy en día forman parte de la comunidad OCD, y allí estaba @acidyo sin saber qué iba yo a decir, solo lo sabíamos mi equipo de trabajo y yo. Respire y naturalmente empecé a hablar sobre lo que la gente normalmente conoce sobre OCD y fui desarrollando en diferentes ideas lo que se ha convertido hoy en una comunidad y witness tan potente como OCD.
Como se veía antes a OCD
OCD era, y es una comunidad de curación manual, en nuestros términos no existe el voto automático, y por lo tanto nos dedicamos a curar el contenido de excelencia pero además de eso nos enfocamos en los nuevos usuarios viéndose como un compromiso con Hive, para que todos de cierto modo sepan que su contenido también puede ser valorado como los demás, y también se puede sentir como una cálida bienvenida.
Claro, ese era tal vez el OCD de antes, que votaba publicaciones al azar, todo esto antes de que tuviéramos una comunidad propia, y luego de la existencia de esta, empezamos a votar dentro de nuestra comunidad.
El OCD de ahora
No hace falta saber el origen de dicho cambio en OCD, en lo que puedes ver ahora y tal vez desconocer porque el océano de Hive es inmenso, a veces te puedes perder, sin embargo, creo que hoy en día OCD se hace notar, lo hace muy bien cada vez que vemos esos votos altos en tendencias de casi todas las comunidades y tags y todo esto tiene una razón.
Nosotros lo llamamos “incubación”, pero yo lo llamaré compromiso. Quienes aún no lo sepan, la curación de OCD se ha extendido más allá de la curación OG que teníamos antes (disculpen que diga muchas veces nosotros, es que me siento incluido en todo esto porque he sido testigo y estoy tras el telón de toda esta historia junto con ellos), ahora nos hemos extendido a más de 30 comunidades que han sido adoptadas por el voto de OCD.
Incubación y proceso de selección
La incubación nace como un compromiso con Hive, de esa forma la veo y lo plasmé en mis palabras en ese discurso. Aquí los líderes de comunidades con ciertos nichos, se postulan en un canal que tenemos en Discord #comunnity-incubation. La clave para tener más oportunidad de acceder a este programa es que tengas un nicho diferente a los que ya están dentro de la incubación, pero además de eso, tienes más ventajas si cuentas con una cantidad considerable de suscriptores y usuarios activos, sin embargo, creo que esto no es limitativo del todo, sin embargo es lo que debemos tener más presentes a la hora de postularse.
Una vez que entras al programa de incubación, te dan tu rol donde podrás ver a todas las comunidades que están dentro de OCD incubación. Y en especial, tendrás un canal para ti, donde podrás nominar las publicaciones que según tu criterio como líder, merece obtener un valor agregado por parte del voto de OCD.
Sin embargo, en OCD es importante la diversificación de los votos, por lo que intentamos mantener un registro de los usuarios que son votados recientemente, y eso es una tarea que nos facilita Discord por el acceso al historial con solo colocar el nombre del usuario.
Nosotros, los líderes de comunidad no elegimos qué porcentaje votar a las nominaciones, sin embargo podemos dejar una pequeña descripción o posible porcentaje textual junto a la nominación que ha sido tomado muy en cuenta al momento de los votos. Esto es un trabajo en conjunto, muy bien organizado, donde velamos también que no haya ningún tipo de abuso.
Una indirecta incubación
Como les había mencionado antes, somos más de 30 comunidades las que estamos en el programa de OCD incubación, sin embargo, sabemos que hay muchas más en Hive, sé que si pudiéramos hacerlo, acogeríamos a todas ellas, sobre todo a las que están aún creciendo.
Pero como OCD no se detiene, nos hemos interesado por esas otras comunidades, habilitando un canal para todos los curadores y líderes de comunidades de la incubación para que nominen contenido de otras comunidades que son muy interesantes e importantes también. Dejando en claro con esto, que OCD quiere de alguna u otra forma expandirse en toda HIVE.
Además debo decir, que en cualquier momento muchas comunidades dentro de la incubación pueden graduarse, ya que han alcanzado un importante crecimiento y de cierto modo estabilidad, de este modo, otras comunidades pequeñas que también necesitan y pueden entrar al programa puedan hacerlo. Todos podemos tener nuestra oportunidad en algún momento, por eso es que hay que aprovechar al máximo todas estas herramientas que nos da OCD.
Un movimiento llamado “Posh”
Otro de los temas que pude abordar un poco en el discurso que preparamos, y que aprovecharé de explicar un poco más. Si pudiera definir a posh, lo definiría como “compromiso de interacción en Hive” y de cierto modo, de eso se trata este proyecto de OCD.

Luego como verán en la imagen colocan un par de tags relevantes al contenido que estamos compartiendo (en mi caso food) porque se trata de comida, junto con la etiqueta #Hive para hacer promoción a nuestra plataforma. Colocar tantas, puede tomarse como spam, y nombrar a algún otro usuario no es necesario y puede ser una molestia para la otra persona.
Una vez que envíes el tweet el bot de posh automáticamente hará un comentario con el tweet que acabas de hacer, en donde se refleja todo lo que ves en la imagen.
Lo importante del proyecto posh, es la interacción que hagamos con nuestro contenido, y con los tweets de otras personas. De esa forma es que ganamos los tokens “posh” donde se reparten 500 posh diarios.
Así que, entre más interacción tengamos y reacciones tenemos más posibilidades de ganar tokens “posh”.
Muchos se preguntaran si esto tiene un valor monetario actualmente, y la respuesta es que no, por ahora solo estamos acumulando tokens. Ahora esto no quiere decir que en un futuro este token no tenga valor monetario, seguramente muy pronto tendremos la respuesta a ello.
Pero por ahora lo importante de este movimiento Posh, es que con el mismo estamos logrando que exista más interacción entre usuarios, incluso dar más visibilidad tanto a nuestro contenido como a Hive como una plataforma comunitaria para que todos vean el potencial que es esta Blockchain.
No estás solo, OCD te da la bienvenida
Es un poco amargo tener que recordar que en mis tiempos de Steemit, era muy difícil obtener un voto, y era inevitable que nos sintiéramos mal. Incluso a veces decíamos “solo es un primer post” seguro el otro tendrá mejores recompensas. Pero era algo que decíamos para opacar un poco lo mal que tal vez nos sentíamos al ver esos votos y tener una cierta expectativa de lo que podríamos obtener con una introducción a la plataforma.
Pues, OCD una vez más marca la diferencia de esos tiempos, porque también tenemos la propuesta de que los nuevos usuarios obtengan una cálida bienvenida y una prueba de que si decides tomarte esto en serio, puedes lograr muchas cosas.
Lo había mencionado en mi discurso, OCD también se interesa mucho por los nuevos creadores, tenemos canales en nuestros servidores donde tú puedes compartir tu introducción o la de los demás. En este último caso, nos gusta que los nuevos sean también recibidos por los demás usuarios, o por quien haya conseguido su post y lo haya compartido con nosotros, así que un saludo de bienvenida en un comentario nunca está de más, recordando que Hive no es solo una fuente de ingreso y de oportunidades de proyectos, sino que también tiene un lado humano.
No solo lo pueden hacer los usuarios, sino también los líderes y curadores de OCD, tenemos un canal exclusivo donde también podemos hacer esta importante tarea.
El futuro de OCD
Nadie puede predecir el futuro, y yo menos, soy una pieza de OCD en un tablero con muchas otras piezas y un líder que ha sabido darnos la guía y las herramientas para llevar a cabo todo esto. Que deposita su confianza en nosotros, que cree en el trabajo que hace cada líder, cada curador, moderador y todos los que forman parte del equipo OCD.
Sin embargo, OCD no se detiene, estamos creciendo cada vez más, y en el mismo proceso estamos aportando cada vez más a Hive. Ser testigo de esto es algo magnífico, ser un hispano dentro de un proyecto anglo como este es un HONOR, nunca desaprovecharía esta oportunidad, y no creo que me vaya a sentir decepcionado o cansado de trabajar dentro de este proyecto.
Estoy seguro que muchas cosas se vendrán y todo con el principal objetivo que tiene OCD “bienestar colectivo en Hive, donde nos involucre a todos, hispanos, anglos y cualquier otro idioma”, de este modo tener una blockchain más armoniosa y unida, donde las diferencias se respeten, donde todos tengamos un papel importante y sea tomado en cuenta.

La influencia de OCD y como está conectado en mi trabajo y compromiso con Hive
Para mí como persona es muy difícil no sentirme influenciado con un proyecto como OCD, incluso, me siento influenciado con cada comunidad y proyecto con el que he estado. Y siento que mi compromiso con ellos y con Hive es ser una voz que de las herramientas para que todos tengan las mismas oportunidades.
Empezando por mí, dándome la oportunidad como curador y líder de una comunidad llamada “Hive pets” de la cual me siento muy orgulloso. Pero es un orgullo colectivo, porque no es sólo roadstories, hay muchas personas tras cada movimiento que hago, cada proyecto y cada avance.
He hecho de esto algo muy largo, pero no puedo perder la oportunidad que tengo junto a todo esto, de presentarles a mis amigos y a mi equipo de trabajo.

Mi nombre es Raicelys Gómez, tengo 39 años, venezolana, casada y madre de dos hijos. Profesional de la ingeniería en sistemas, especializada en las áreas de redes y telecomunicaciones, con una larga experiencia profesional en el sector automotriz, inicialmente en las áreas de planificación y sistemas, y finalmente en las áreas de venta y postventa, donde ocupé cargos gerenciales por más de una década.
Apasionada por la tecnología y en búsqueda de nuevos medios de inversión, me interesé en conocer acerca de la tecnología blockchain, siendo mi primera experiencia en ella, las redes sociales descentralizadas, a las que me uní en el primer semestre de 2.018. Desde entonces, he formado parte de equipos dedicados a la educación y formación de la tecnología blockchain, promoviendo así, la adopción de las criptomonedas como medios de inversión.
Actualmente en HIVE, formo parte del equipo de moderación de las comunidades HIVE PETS y HIVE MOBILE GAMES, así como parte del staff de moderadores del programa semanal EXPRÉSATE CON LOS 5 A LOS 4, en el cual comparto espacio con un equipo super genial enfocado en la educación y formación de la comunidad que hace vida en esta plataforma.

Mi nombre es Gabriel Jauregui, tengo 22 años y soy de Carabobo, Venezuela. Soy estudiante de Terapia Psicosocial, pero tuve que abandonar los estudios en el tercer semestre de la carrera, aunque espero reanudarla en algún momento. Desde hace tres años estoy inmerso en el mundo blockchain aprendiendo y estudiando todo lo que pueda, y a su vez tratando de enseñar a todo aquél que quiera aprender. Actualmente en Hive soy moderador de la comunidad de Hive Mobile Games y soy parte del equipo de Exprésate con los 5 para las 4, una actividad de educación y curación donde educamos a los nuevos y no tan nuevos usuarios de la plataforma para que aprovechen lo más posible su conocimiento y habilidades haciendo publicaciones de excelente calidad.

Mi nombre es Natalia Loreto, soy de Valencia, Venezuela. Estudié Biología y aunque no me gradué, me siento una bióloga porque solo me faltó culminar mi tesis. Empecé en el mundo de la Blockchain en el año 2018 con Steemit, y desde entonces he pasado por varias Blockckains entre las que destacan EOS y ahora HIVE. Con EOS logré ser embajadora en Venezuela de Pixeos, una galería de arte digital (NFTs). Empecé con Hive desde el principio y me he caracterizado por hacer contenido de películas, shows de tv y videojuegos, además de alguna que otra cosa que se me ocurra. Desde agosto del 2020 estoy en el equipo de Exprésate con los 5 para las 4, en el que al igual que mis compañeros, hacemos curaciones de contenido temático. Y últimamente he empezado con actividades para nuevos usuarios para que sepan desde los inicios a realizar las publicaciones con la menor cantidad de errores posibles, y así enriquecer está grandiosa comunidad con contenido y personas completamente nuevas.

Mi nombre es José Carrera, tengo 31 años, soy Venezolano. Amante de los videojuegos y cocinar. De profesión soy Ingeniero en telecomunicaciones, con experiencia en redes híbridas de fibra óptica y coaxial. He tenido la oportunidad de trabajar en el ámbito educativo con mi profesión, creando contenido para ser impartido a futuros profesionales. Soy adicto a la tecnología, así que los sistemas blockchain no podían quedar de lados. Me encantan las redes sociales descentralizadas así que no podía dejar de estar en Hive. Me gusta enseñar y justo a personas maravillosas, hemos podido dar talleres educativos sobre la tecnología blockchain y ayudar a romper esa barrera entre los nuevos usuarios y todo este ecosistema que puede llegar a ser abrumador. Actualmente soy parte del equipo del programa Exprésate con los 5 para las 4, un programa de curación y educación para apoyar a la comunidad. Adicional, me encuentro apoyando como curador en la comunidad de Hive Pets, el mejor espacio para nuestras mascotas.

Soy Gael, un venezolano de 36 años en Hive. La gente me considera detallista, inteligente, trabajador y paciente. Me he desarrollado principalmente en el campo de la salud como Odontólogo, pero también he crecido en los campos de la educación, la investigación, TEFL e incluso blockchain. Durante los últimos diez años he realizado innumerables tratamientos especialmente los relacionados con la cirugía de terceros molares: he sido profesor de metodología de más de 200 estudiantes de 10 generaciones de odontólogos; He trabajado como profesor de inglés voluntario; y me he desempeñado como embajador y traductor de proyectos blockchain en Steem EOS y Tron. Ahora en HIVE, comparto continuamente mis aficiones, intereses y pasiones en las respectivas comunidades asociadas al contenido que produzco. Además, he colaborado con muchos líderes y proyectos comunitarios para llevar la información correcta a la comunidad hispana superando la barrera del idioma para un lenguaje técnicamente hablado que puede tener el contenido de blockchain.

Cuando conocí a estos chicos, y su programa que para ese entonces era "Exprésate con los 4 para las 4", supe que ese era un camino que debía tomar tanto para luchar contra mi ansiedad de estar en un público, y tener un medio para poder conectar a la comunidad hispana con todos los proyectos que tiene OCD.
Con esto me refiero a darles las herramienta y la información en nuestro idioma a todos los que estén interesados en saber, pero además de ello, ayudarles con sus contenido, a mejorar cada aspecto de sus publicaciones y sobre todo, motivarlos a que se sumerjan también en el mundo anglo.
He estado en muchos podcast y para ese tiempo no había visto uno que eduque tanto a los usuarios como lo hizo exprésate con los 4 para las 4 que ahora es Expresate con los 5 para las 4.
Ahora actualmente puedo decir, no hay otro podcast donde haya estado como oyente donde se hable de lo que se hace en OCD, y la forma en la que un hispano puede salir beneficiado también, porque en OCD no tenemos límites de idioma, sin embargo, como comunidad anglo, requieren que el contenido sea en inglés, y de manera flexible inglés/lengua nativa.
La comunidad hispana ve esto como un desafío, más que todo por la mala traducción que puede representar el uso de google traductor. Sin embargo, mi equipo de trabajo y yo, hemos estado educando todo este tiempo a los usuarios no solo a mejorar sus publicaciones y guiarlos a las comunidades donde deben compartir sus contenido. Estudiamos las reglas y los requisitos de cada comunidad dentro de la incubación de OCD, para tener las respuesta a manos, y las herramientas que necesitan nuestros amigos hispanos.
Además de eso, dentro de nuestro equipo se ha llevado una tarea de educar en el uso del traductor deepl.com y de grammarly.com, recordandoles que debemos tener en cuenta que nuestro idioma nativo debe ser escrito de la mejor manera posible y correcta, para que se nos haga la tarea de la traducción más fácil con estas dos herramientas.

Pero no solo nos dedicamos a esto, también hay personas dentro de nuestro equipo con una gran pasión por Hive. Una persona que se presentó ante un público de más de 80 personas en una conferencia donde estuve presente y pude disfrutar. Sobre todo por lo sencillo pero nutrida información sobre Hive.

Y podría detenerme a contarles todas las anécdotas que tenemos de creadores de contenido que han crecido junto con cada iniciativa que tenemos en nuestro programa. Pero estoy seguro que ellos vendrán y les contara a todos ustedes en los comentarios de esta publicación, porque son testigos de todo lo que este gran equipo hace.
"Exprésate con los 5 para las 4" es un programa de educación donde se habla de diferentes tópicos. Comida, mascotas, literatura, cine y temas libres. Pero que además estos temas están siempre conectados con las comunidades que forman parte del proyecto incubación, de una forma en que damos tips a los usuarios de donde debe publicar, tags a usar y todo lo que necesiten para que saquen el mayor provecho.
Sinceramente, no me puedo sentir más orgulloso y feliz de este equipo, porque no solo forman parte de mi vida, sino de mi crecimiento en Hive, de mis propósitos dentro de OCD y que de cierto modo contribuyen también a que cada proyecto de OCD se extienda en nuestra comunidad hispana y fuera de Hive.
Es increíble y un honor contar con ellos siempre.
