On Saturday February 6, 2021, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner held a press conference with other local and state officials to discuss vaccine hesitancy. Journalist Derrick Broze asked the Mayor about reporting for adverse reactions to vaccines. Broze also asked Houston Health Authority Dr. David Persse about the ongoing problems with the PCR method used to test patients for COVID.

There is a phrase that has become very popular that says "facts don't care about your feelings". And while I understand the intended message, something like no matter how you feel about the truth, the truth will prevail over you. It doesn't matter if you like gravity or not, there is gravity anyway. I would like to turn it around, because many times I think the opposite happens too.

I know some of you guys in the Northern Hemisphere or in other countries have it way, way tougher than us on many COVID fronts, but I'm going to rant and complain anyway, because that's what this community is for, right? And maybe I can get it off my chest and deal with it like a big girl.

A few weeks ago I turned 33. It is said that many people involved in mystical activities leave this planet at this age, like Jesus did. I’m skeptical and I have faith at the same time. In my mind all is possible and I don’t deny any of the endless possibilities of this world. The ways I've practiced my personal mysticism are a bit out of the boundaries described by religions, yet I've always tried to figure out what they are trying to say.

All ruling ideologies share something in common, and it is very troubling just thinking about it. Power is never an organic drive and requires very specific settings. Withholding knowledge causes lies to become systemic and then, of course, coercion. Both are bedfellows. Look at how FB is seeking to restrict political content to some (aka many) users because of the fear of civil disobedience?

It's a smell that you can never unsmell, and it lingers in your nostrils for ever. The smell of death and decaying flesh.
We've been in our city-fringe new house since Christmas and for the last 3 weeks have been plagued by the smell of something very dead nearby. And FLIES - so many flies - dozens of them, in the house, everyday! And flies are NOT common in Northern Thailand, at all.
She with the very sensitive nose has been wandering about sniffing and poking, a little wary of disturbing the jungle round our house due to snakes etc.

My student was feeling frustrated because she has been practicing affirmations, repeating positive phrases, in order to improve her life, and they always seem to have the opposite effect.
I have had many similar experiences so I know exactly why this is happening; it's the fuel we are using. I go into the different ways to push ourselves forward and how finding better fuel can change everything and make it so that affirmations don't lead you to shooting yourself in the foot.
