What Are The Ways, In Which You Choose To Celebrate Life!
I think we can all agree that life is precious, that each moment is a gift and that over this last year we have really began to understand how important it is to celebrate life, with those people that we love.
That the simple act of coming together, to share our passions, to share our experiences, is what fuels us, what inspires us and drives us in our day to day lives. Taking the time to celebrate, has never been more important, as it reminds us how powerful we really are!
It was a real pleasure to read all the wonderful responses to this question, to share in the many ways in which you all express your gratitude and celebrate your lives.
We have so much to learn from one another. So it is important to provide opportunities, in which we can share our experiences and create better understanding as we move forward. This question provided just that.
We had 12 answers in total and in the spirit of Abundance one of those writers will receive 20% of the payout of this post. This week it goes to @iyimoga.
Abundance.Tribe BiWeekly Question : A lesson from my wife how to celebrate despite the pain

@yagoub
Today as any year, we celebrate a religious holiday (Eid).
This holiday comes once a year and on this holiday the children wear new clothes, walk around the city, visit relatives and collect some money. That's what makes this day a day of happiness and joy for children, and also for parents. and especially the mothers. This year the holiday (Eid) was very different not because of the virus, but this holiday like other occasions makes me remember that I had a handsome, smart, and naughty son.
AbundanceTribe's Bi-weekly Question - Living Life in Celebration

@stortebeker
Enjoying Each Moment for What It Is
This one sounds totally intuitive, but it's really not. Of course, if you're at a party, celebrating it is the most obvious thing. And yes, you could say you're celebrating life at the same time. Easy peasy. But what about other times, when the world around you is not celebrating? What if you find yourself waiting in line for hours, getting bored, or even worse, in midst a struggle? Can you still celebrate life in those moments? I'd say yes, and in fact, I would consider those the real important moments to celebrate.

I still can't fathom the loss of a friend just before COVID hit. Sunflowered, smiling girl she was - the kinda chic you could rely on to make you feel at ease, and loved, no matter who you were. In her last months we texted a lot at 4 am - her, up with the pain of chemo, and me, flushed with hormones and anxiety and unable to sleep past that god hour. Everything felt apocalyptic, then, with the smoke of the fires sweeping an unnatural haze over the world. We'd spend weeks with the windows shut because we couldn't breath with the smoke haze.

Introduction
In answer to Abundance tribe's biweekly question I will try to answer this for my personal situation. I was realizing a few things yesterday when I answered @ecotrain's question as well, and honestly, I love the fact that these questions often make me think really hard and discover answers that I often hadn't realized until I wrote the answers down. It's always good to do some self-reflection from time to time, so here we go!
I miss the festival years quite often, While it has been quite a few years already that I was enjoying festival after festival in my younger years, dancing the nights away, this is something that is still fresh in my memory.
What are the Ways you Choose to Celebrate Life? Abundance Tribe's QOEOOW

@revisesociology
My traditional means of celebrating is to have a beer or six, or ten now I'm in Portugal because the beers here are so very, very small, and lots of junk food to go with said beer, but I'm trying to ween myself off that habit as I can't sustain that and my beach body, which I'll need for summer, or rather which I stand a chance of getting back by next summer if I do ease off said beers. So, how am I going to celebrate life sans beer?
TBH I think it's just about getting the basics right, I'm not one for partying as a means of celebration, I can celebrate life by just doing ordinary day to day things and finding wonder in them, so here's four ways I plan to celebrate life:

If you have been reading my blogs regularly you will see that I am spending so much of my time outdoors, especially over the weekend. With so many restrictions going on in almost all parts of the world we have almost forgotten what real freedom is. Most of the people I see are now choosing by themselves to confine themselves in 4 walls. Last week we had a good 5 days holiday and I was checking with my friends if they would like to go somewhere out of the city, and most of them denied. When I asked them if they were scared that they would get the virus, they said, no, we are more concerned about the policing and any hassle if it comes up. So, if we see how the fear index has now shifted from the virus to the policing.
Less Attachment, More Presence , Life is a Sacred and Spiritual Miracle

Yesterday was the first anniversary of my cousin's death. A tragic accident at only 39 years old, he was taken far too young.
Growing up, we spent a lot of time together. We had joint birthday parties, like the one pictured above which was my 6th and his 4th at my house in Brighton. Mostly we enjoyed school holidays at my grandparent's farm. He along with his brother, our other cousin, and I went on many an adventure across the fields and into the woods that made up my Grandparent's Homestead. My childhood was a fortunate one, filled with love, nurture, and adventures.
What Are The Ways, In Which You Choose To Celebrate Life? (Abundance.Tribe BiWeekly Question)

@josediccus
Life in itself is sacred, i mean, the ability to exhibit our consciousness which proves that we are alive. There are many times a lot of people allows their issues, their shortcomings and inabilities to influence their whole story and as a result of this they begin to find no essence to life, they find no need to be thankful in a show of appreciation.
Life in itself requires us to find our diverse unique formula to celebrate it as this is the only way we can approach our struggles against things like poverty, racism, bad governance, oppression, inferiority and things like body shaming that's rampant in the society.
The Many Ways In Which I Celebrate Life!

@trucklife-family
We are born, with this natural instinct, a drive to savor every moment, to observe with wonder and to embrace what life brings us, even if it is painful, our hearts are so open and we are so ready to receive!Then life happens and with it our skin thickens and our hearts close, little by little, a way in which to protect ourselves from the harshness of the world around us.
For those of us who are sensitive, this harsh human world has made us build walls. Because we can see both sides of this world, the magic of the natural world and the manipulation and destruction of the human world. So we build walls, to try and protect ourselves.
Life to the fullest when you have people you love around you.

@iyimoga
Sometimes I sit back relax and go through a lot as my head spins round and round, fear grips my heart when ever i think of that faithful day when I will lay down without words to anyone.
The good book made it clear that all should live a trust worthy life as there is always reward for what ever part you choose to live, the good rewards go with the good paths and the other wise (bad rewards) goes with the bad path.
Every journey always has a beginning and equally an end the beginning sometimes don't matter but what matters in one's life is the end. The end is what will give justification to how you lived your life.
Abundance.Tribe Biweekly Question: What are The Ways we choose to celebrate life

@dwixer
Though the world is full of vicissitudes, life becomes our only factor of hope, thus in that philosophy, we believe as long as there's life, then there's hope. Sometimes ago, I worried about too many things, I wanted to accomplish so many things, but the more I strive to reach that goal, life presented situations that made it more difficult. I denied myself happiness, choosing to worry, but after I realized my worry doesn't change anything, and life always has its ups and downs, I chose to be happy in every circumstance.
Something to Celebrate! - Response to Abundance Tribe Bi-weekly Question...

@porters
This is a very appropriate question for this time of year, Spring, when everything is bursting with life!
My senses too, become alive with all the sights, sounds and smells.
I breath in the fresh Spring air and it has a sweetness about it.
The fresh greens of the sprouting plants and leaves on the trees are a delight to the eyes, and then the other colors begin to appear, the blue of the crocuses, the yellow of the dandelions and pinks of the cherry blossoms - all so wonderful!
