I'd had these photos (taken in November 2023) on my hard drive for some time, filed in my “Unknown” folder. But a simple search this morning found all the information I needed to present this mural to you. It's a work by Roadsworth for the creative workshop Chat des Artistes in Montreal.
Cela faisait quelque temps que j'avais ces photos (prises en novembre 2023) sur mon disque dur classé dans mon dossier "Inconnu". Mais une simple recherche ce matin pour trouver toutes les informations nécessaires pour vous présenter cette murale. Il s'agit d'une oeuvre de Roadsworth pour l'atelier créatif Chat des Artistes à Montréal.

This series of stencils is located at 2205 rue Parthenais in Montreal. This is the building housing Le Chat des artistes, one of the first projects of Ateliers créatifs for artists and cultural organizations.

Roadsworth
Peter Gibson aka Roadsworth has been active on the streets of Montreal since 2001. He uses stencils extensively to create his works, having fun with their placement. His murals can be found all over the world, especially in North America, but also in Europe and Asia. A world-renowned artist... I'm curious if you've seen any of his work 🤔.
Peter Gibson aka Roadsworth est un artiste actif depuis 2001 dans les rues de Montréal. Il utilise beaucoup les pochoirs pour réaliser ses oeuvres en s'amusant dans leur placement. Ses murales peuvent être trouvées un peu partout dans le monde, surtout en Amérique du Nord mais aussi en Europe et en Asie. Un artiste reconnu mondialement... Je suis curieux si vous êtes déjà tombés sur une de ses oeuvres 🤔.
This mural, created in 2012, is called Chimère (Chimera) for the [Ateliers créatifs](https://www.atelierscreatifs.org/ Montréal) (Creative workshops) to highlight the creativity that is concentrated in this building. Inspired by the work of Eadweard Muybridge. the famous English photographer, the horses have been replaced by cats to echo the name of the place Chat des Artistes. Over the years, the colors have faded a little, but it's still nice.
Cette murale réalisée en 2012 s'appelle Chimère pour les [Ateliers créatifs](https://www.atelierscreatifs.org/ Montréal) et ainsi souligner la créativité qui se concentre dans cet immeuble. Elle s'inspire du travail de Eadweard Muybridge. le fameux photographe anglais, les chevaux ont été remplacés par des chats pour un rappel au nom du lieu Chat des Artistes. Depuis les années les couleurs sont un peu délavées mais c'est encore sympathique.
The garage door was painted by an unknown artist. It must also be a few years old. The text is perfect for artists / FR : La porte du garage a été peinte par un artiste inconnu. Elle doit dater aussi de quelques années. Le texte est parfait pour accueillir des artistes :
