Hello everybody, after a couple of weeks without sharing on this community, I am back with another post about beers. Previously I have shared with you a post about peruvian beers, specially by my favorite brewery "7 Vidas", and even about a beer named after my daughter that was created by her father on "Oblivion" brewery.
On this occasion we got to taste three Belgian beers, that honestly gave me great satisfaction.
Brewery: Dubuisson.
Beer: Bush Caràctere.
ABV: 12%.
Ibu: 25.
This was our first beer of the night, it would be a Belgian Strong Ale on style. It is a very alcoholic beer, of a pale blond color, not very translucent because of the great amount of alcohol. The generous amount of malted barley can be perceived, accompanied by a fruity and spice sensation. It is a strong beer, without being too heavy in my taste.
Brewery: Dubuisson.
Beer: Bush Pêche Mel.
ABV: 8.5%
IBU: 16.
It is a peach flavored beer, so it is a fruit beer that's born after a Belgian Blonde style, or according to the American Brewery Association guide, a Strong Fruit Beer. The taste is of an usual Belgian Blonde but with the extra peach addition. The color ia pretty similar to our first beer, with less alcohol, very drinkable but with a well marked fruity sensation. It is a pleasant beer, even tho fruity beers are not my thing.
Brewery: De Branbadere.
Beer: Petrus Bordeaux.
ABV: 5.5%
IIBU: 15.
This is a very interesting beer, im style it could be an Oud Bruin, a Sour, a Flanders Red Ale... or even a Lambic, so it's quite unusual. For a better nomenclature it would be a Sour Flander Red Ale.
It was my undisputed favorite of the night, with a fruity sensation without having a fruit adding per se, and it's aged in oak cask. The flavor is reminiscent of cassis, Belgian fruit (the most similar in latinamerica would be blackberry). With a lower alcoholic content, it has a beautiful wine like color, with a sour and sweet touch, which makes it a well rounded and complex beer.

Hola a todos, luego de un par de semanas sin aparecer por acá, acá me encuentro de regreso con otro post sobre cervecitas. Anteriormente les he hablado de cervezas peruanas, en especial de mi cervecería preferida "7 Vidas", e incluso sobre la cerveza en honor a mi hija que fue creada por su padre de la mano de Cervecería "Oblivion".
En esta oportunidad nos dedicamos a disfrutar de tres cervezas Belgas, que honestamente me han dejado con una gran satisfacción.
Cervecería: Dubuisson.
Cerveza: Bush Caràctere.
ABV: 12%.
Ibu: 25.
Ésta fue la primera cerveza de la noche, en estilo sería una Belgian Strong Ale. Es una cerveza bien alcohólica, de un color rubio pálido, no tan translúcida por la gran cantidad de alcohol. Se puede percibir la generosa cantidad de cebada malteada, con una sensación frutal y especiada. Es una cerveza fuerte, sin llegar a ser excesivamente pesada a mi gusto.
Cervecería: Dubuisson.
Cerveza: Bush Pêche Mel.
ABV: 8.5%
IBU: 16.
Es una cerveza saborizada con concentrado de durazno, así que es una fruit beer que nace de un estilo Belgian Blonde, o en la guia de la American Brewery Association sería una strong fruit beer. En boca es como una Belgian Blonde usual, sólo que con el añadido de durazno. El color es similar al de la cerveza anterior, tiene menos alcohol, es más bebible pero con una sensación frutal bien marcada. Es una cerveza bien agradable, a pesar de que las fruit beer no son lo mío.
Cervecería: De Branbadere.
Cerveza: Petrus Bordeaux.
ABV: 5.5%
IIBU: 15.
Es una chelita bien interesante, en estilo puede ser una Oud Bruin, una Sour, una Flanders Red Ale... o incluso una Lambic, así que es bien inusual. Para categorizarla mejor, sería una Sour Flander Red Ale.
Fue indiscutiblemente mi cerveza favorita de la noche, tiene una sensación de fruta aún sin tener añadido de fruta y es añejada en barrica de roble. Tiene en boca una sensación a cassis, fruta belga (lo más similar en Latinoamérica sería mora). No tiene tanto contenido de alcohol, es de un hermoso color avinado, con un toque acido y dulce lo que lo hace una cerveza bien redonda y compleja.
