I still couldn't imagine how HIVE has spread like wildfire and how it brings together like-minded people in our place! Starting this middle of the year, there was never a month that we didn’t have the Hive Orientation. We always had a schedule for it! Somebody always booked a schedule for it! Hive is creating abuzz everywhere!
This Orientation's gracious host is the Caduawan Elementary School for the second time around. It's incredible how the Caduawan teachers headed by the generous and kind @lovinglymers scheduled a Hive Orientation because the other school administrators expressed their interest in diving into the world of Hive. And so without a doubt, we geared up for another Hiveorientation last December 8 at 9:00 am.
True to what @indayclara had mentioned in her blog, she already assigned me and the other onboarders to be the speakers and facilitators of the event, yet I personally beg her to be our speaker for this last Orientation for the very main reason –it would be truly impactful if the school administrator will learn about Hive from someone who has been staying Hive for long and who knows Hive like the back of their hand and from someone who has a good reputation in Hive.
While Sir Kim informed us that he couldn't join the orientation and so with Sir Intoybugoy, still we could never thank enough @indayclara for always giving her time to us. She has consistently dedicated her time to us, I couldn't recall a single instance that she turned down any of our requests. Her unwavering support speaks volumes, and we are truly blessed to have her guiding us on our Hive journey.
The participants:
The participants of this Hive Orientation are the school administrators, teachers from other districts (San Remegio and Borbon), students, friends, and invitees of the Hive bloggers.
Same with our previous orientation, we followed the same format and flow. The orientation began with a friendly introduction of the participants by sharing their names and their hobbies. The old users or we,onboarders, also shared our journey in Hive and how much we have earned to ignite the eagerness among them. This part of the orientation always makes me proud, as I am proud and grateful that I found Hive a year ago.
The topics
The focus of the Orientation is the Hive Ecosystem,(it being decentralized, a blockchain, and run by cryptocurrency), the PeakD Interface, the OCD-Onboarding, and technicalities in blogging like how to write an introblog and what's in a blog and the Do's and Dont's of blogging and the reward system. And yes of course, plagiarism is given emphasis, we always stress that users should always write and share original and unique content.
In the absence of Sir Kim and Intoybugoy, it was @indayclara who seamlessly took in charge of all the topics. Her expertise and passion shone through as she guided the participants through the beautiful Hive Ecosystem. Meanwhile, I was assigned to operate the laptop for the PowerPoint presentation.

After a serious discussion of the Hive Blockchain and its ecosystem, the floor was given to me to navigate the PeakD Interface. Everyone was all eyes on the screen eager to learn and discover the functions of PeakD.
With everything and the basics being said and tackled, the floor was then open for the question and answer portion. IndayClara entertained and answered the questions comprehensively.
On the other side, the host (volunteered) school extended their warm embrace of hospitality to all the participants by giving everyone food and snacks to eat. Though they admit the number of participants exceeded their expectations still they were able to provide a scrumptious lunch to all of us! It was like a fest!
The day ended with another successful Hive Orientation. And now we are all anticipating more users to come and join HIVE!
