I was able to strategically plan my day to get a good workout early as usual before work while getting some good sleep. Headed to the gym right after my coffee for some weight training. It was leg day so also added some treadmill walks on both sides. I was tempted to go to the Spa but instead waited for the chance in the afternoon.
Things worked out so I went back to the gym at lunchtime just to go to the Spa for the first time in weeks. It took a bit to stay in for the time I was doing back home but not surprised given the weeks that have passed. However, I thought this was a good chance to get that going again as recovery will be key for me for the rest of the Summer. While things have not gone well with my diet due to lack of discipline, I am confident that my body will take these extra pounds and turn it to something good. I will not regret enjoying this trip with the family!
