The weekend has finally arrived and I took the day to focus on my fitness as I wanted to start the new program so that I could monitor how my body reacts while I prepare for another busy week at work in days. I was up early to head to the family’s weekly Yoga class at the gym. It was another rough session as I could not handle the stretch poses very well. I also decided to get some measurements today as I had held back since going on vacation to avoid weighing myself.
As expected, my weight was up but my body percentage stayed the same from prior to the vacation. At first, I was disappointed but I think it is a win for me as I seem to be achieving some improvement in muscle mass which has been my goal with adding carbs back to the diet. The results encouraged me to head back to the gym in the afternoon for my first day of the new program. I ended at the Spa for some needed recovery to continue my weekend.
