Three Tune Tuesday | SWAG: A Mix of R&B and Indie Pop

Happy Tuesday! Joining the #TTT or #ThreeTuneTuesday🤘🏻, thanks to @ablaze for coming up with this amazing idea.

I skipped last week’s TTT because life's been busy, but I’ve been meaning to share my thoughts on Justin Bieber’s new album SWAG, released last July 11. I’ve had it on repeat since day one!

SWAG is Justin’s 7th studio album and came as a total surprise. Before this, there were rumors about him doing a world tour and releasing new album, but then news came out that he wasn’t doing well, so fans didn’t expect anything soon. That’s why this album release shocked everyone, but in a good way!

What I love about this album is how different it feels from his older music. It really shows how much he’s grown as an artist. The vibe is a mix of indie pop and R&B, which is perfect for my playlist. I didn’t skip a single track in this album! Every song hits differently.

For this week’s TTT, here are my Top 3 picks from SWAG (though it was hard to choose just three!):

🎶 Walking Away

And every time you don't say my name
I'm reminded how I love when you say it
I know we have this moment to face
But, baby, I ain't walking away

This was love at first listen for me. It’s got that smooth JB R&B vibe and the instrumentals give so much emotion.

🎶 Daisies

And you got me all, all weak in my knees every time
‘Cause you got me all, all in my feelings
Every time

This one’s all over TikTok! It’s upbeat, fun, and super catchy. I read it’s about JB and Hailey’s marriage. I'm not a fan of Hailey and JB's love story but I like this song!

🎶 Yukon

What would I do, uh, if I didn't love you, babe?
What would I do if I didn't love (Love) you, babe?
What would I do (What would I do?), if I didn't love you?

One of the more acoustic tracks in the SWAG album and I love how simple yet addictive it is. Definitely one of my fave!
