Hello!
It’s Tuesday and it’s one of my favorite days lately. I am trying to keep the consistency posting my Three Tuesday and so far, I wrote about three of them. The weather has been quite affecting me and I am trying my best to survive the dark,somber, rainy days. Don’t get me wrong, I like the cold but I just don’t like stormy rains. But there’s the kind of rain that I think is quite romantic - when it’s drizzling, cold, with a smell of fresh air and the windows fogging up.
When the rain comes, here are the songs I can recommend you to check out. I bet you haven’t heard most of these artists because they are either on soundcloud or circulating under chillhop playlists.
Quand la pluie tombe by nymano
The title itself basically means when the rain is falling. It has typical old radio sound with some samples here and there and also short conversations. If you follow Lofi, a lot of them has this typical formula.
Sharing an umbrella by Hentaidesu
When you go down the rabbit hole of Lofi, you’d hear some funny names here and there. These music are also often sampled and like its title, it has that drizzling sound.
Takin’ you for a ride by Pandrezz
I was about to go with J’san but pandrezz takin you for a ride gives a bit more cheerful tone complementing the first two. Pandrezz and J’san fall under the chillhop genre which basically shares a lot of similarity to Lofi. Maybe I’ll share more of their work later. This is actually summer vibes but because it's cheerful tone, I just think it's uplifting the mood during rainy days.
I was about to share specifically G-eazy or country songs but it seems, lofi and chillhop are more fitting given the weather lately. It’s also nice to listen while writing this and sipping a cup of iced coffee(the irony). These music are also good for studying/working/coding because it provides just enough background noise without too many lyrics in between. Have you tried listening it?
