Ride along the Hive Rally Car
These are the exact words in the oficial schedule 💖
Everybody wanted this, especially after the boat ride cancellation in the previous day. The bus would be there for us at 12h, so I slept a bit more than the previous mornings, started packing and still had time for a calm walking-breakfast while heading to the bus stop. In no time we were all in the bus, on our way to the karting track.

The venue was comfortable and well-equipped. There were plenty of karts, a nice track, food and beverage available (even more so for Hiveians 😎). And the location itself was nice with good views of the mountains.
Yes, it was a karting track. Yes, it was too narrow for a rally car. Who cares? We had a lot of fun! It was a great experience to have @ssekulji as my driver! I loved the ride and could do that everyday! While I was waiting for my turn I could see other people's faces when they got out of the car and it was a mix of adrenaline and OMG let me go again 😆
But there's more to wait than actually wait. @arcange ran a side event himself by taking people for a ride in his beautiful bike along the coast. 🙌
The bus then took us back to Split for the closing drinks. The city was vibrant, packed with tourists near the harbour. I went home to change to warmer clothes, finished packing and went out again to meet the people at the Antique Bar & Sushi. Another cool spot (again... good job, @lordbutterfly 💪) I like that type of bar and I think I'd go there regularly if I were a local.
I had my flight in the morning, so I couldn't stay for the boat trip that fortunately was re-scheduled for the following day. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The photos look great (@growandbow you climb everything I guess 👏)!
So... after a few cocktails, good sushi and some hours of chat with good people (felt like minutes, really), it was time to say goodbye 😕
FOR NOW 😃
I hope to see you next year, somewhere, for the tenth edition of HiveFest!
Cheers 🥂
