The mindfulness consciousness consists, therefore, in the effort to focus on the present moment in an active and reflective way.
There are many apps on the market that can guide us in the process but regardless of how you do these are the bases:
Find a quiet and peaceful place. Take a seat (do not lie down) with your back straight and your arms on your legs. Quietly close your eyes and take a deep, slow, very slow breath; Then hold that air for a few seconds, and then exhilate it slowly, very slowly, until you feel all the air come out of your lungs. Repeat this process 5 more times.
This might seem simple, you must take into account that you will be presented with thoughts and distractions. Do not listen to them. It is like wanting to develop memory exercises for the first time, we will delay in its resolution. Little by little the thoughts will disappear.
It is important that you feel and observe your breathing at all times. At first it will cost you, but then you will see how your mind is being one with your breath. also try to do it for 5 minutes to 10 minutes a day at a time that does not bother you and once you take the habit you will not let go because its results are very evident.
