Afternoon Chocolate Fans,
After Monday’s Strawberry Pop Tarts, I knew I had to get the Chocolate Pop Tarts back in and try them. Again, it’s been years since I had any form of Pop Tart, so I knew it was a must to eat them too.

Chocolate flavour filling in a frosted pastry.
What I like about these is that there is chocolate everywhere! Chocolate pastry, chocolate frosting and chocolate filling. A chocoholics dream! I eat these in the same way as I did with the Strawberry ones. I eat the pastry round the outside that doesn’t have any frosting on, then I slowly was the remaining pastry. It was really nice. Chocolatey and gooey. I don’t know why I always seem to go for the Strawberry ones, but this one reminded me how good the Chocolate ones were too and I should give them a lot more credit than what I think.
I do wonder what these would be like if the pastry was the same as the Strawberry ones i.e plain, but I don’t know if they would taste as nice. I think they would be good though, because as I said yesterday the pastry had a salty and sweet taste and I think this would go really well with the chocolate filling and the chocolate frosting. Also these reming me of the taste of a Bourbon biscuit. The good old classic English chocolate sandwich biscuit. These were definitely a chocolate fix!
